You are gifted!
1. You have been given a unique gift by God
4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source
of them all. 5 There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same
Lord…7 A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. 8 To
one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the
same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge. 9 The same Spirit gives
great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of
healing… 11 It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He
alone decides which gift each person should have.
(1 Corinthians 12:4-5, 7-9, 11)
2. Your gift is for service not status
7 The evidence of the Spirit’s presence is given to each person for the
common good of everyone. (1 Corinthians 12:7)
3. Using your gift without love is meaningless
If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love
others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I had the gift
of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all
knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t
love others, I would be nothing. 3 If I gave everything I have to the poor and
even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I
would have gained nothing. 4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or
boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable,
and it keeps no record of being wronged.

4. Your gift must be discovered and developed
6 This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you
when I laid my hands on you. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and
timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:6-7)

あなたには賜物が与えられている！
1. あなたには、神様からユニークな賜物が与えられている。
「4 賜物にはいろいろありますが、それをお与えになるのは同じ霊です。 5 務め
にはいろいろありますが、それをお与えになるのは同じ主です…7 一人一人に
“霊”の働きが現れるのは、全体の益となるためです。 8 ある人には“霊”によっ
て知恵の言葉、ある人には同じ“霊”によって知識の言葉が与えられ、 9 ある
人にはその同じ“霊”によって信仰、ある人にはこの唯一の“霊”によって病気を
いやす力… 11 これらすべてのことは、同じ唯一の“霊”の働きであって、“霊”は
望むままに、それを一人一人に分け与えてくださるのです。」

2. あなたへの賜物は、奉仕の為であり地位の為ではありません。

3. 愛なく賜物を用いても無意味です。
「たとえ、人々の異言、天使たちの異言を語ろうとも、愛がなければ、わたしは騒
がしいどら、やかましいシンバル。2 たとえ、預言する賜物を持ち、あらゆる神秘
とあらゆる知識に通じていようとも、たとえ、山を動かすほどの完全な信仰を持っ
ていようとも、愛がなければ、無に等しい。3 全財産を貧しい人々のために使い
尽くそうとも、誇ろうとしてわが身を死に引き渡そうとも、愛がなければ、わたしに
何の益もない。 4 愛は忍耐強い。愛は情け深い。ねたまない。愛は自慢せず、
高ぶらない。 5 礼を失せず、自分の利益を求めず、いらだたず、恨みを抱かな
い。」 (1 コリント人への手紙13:1-5)
4. 貴方の賜物は見つけ出され成長する必要がある
「6 そういうわけで、わたしが手を置いたことによってあなたに与えられている神
の賜物を、再び燃えたたせるように勧めます。7 神は、おくびょうの霊ではなく、
力と愛と思慮分別の霊をわたしたちにくださったのです。」
(2 テモテへの手紙 1:6-7)
