【概要】
島根半島，大山，三瓶山を結ぶ“国引き神話の大地”は，①大陸の時代 ②大陸からの分裂 ③日本海の形
成 ④国内最大の汽水湖（宍道湖・中海）の形成といった歴史をたどってきました。その変化に富む地質
学的基盤は，古代より多様な動植物や鉱産物資源を利用した産業を誕生させ，出雲文化の形成へと導き
ました。
“くにびきの地”では，日本神話にゆかりのある，古代の人々の地球観を生んだ自然風景を見る
ことができます。
【行程】

※各自で移動していただきます．所要時間 1 時間 30 分程度．

9/21（月）

★小伊津海岸（出雲市小伊津町）

【Schedule】
September 20th through 21th. Twentieth is moving day from Tottori to Matsue.
【Capacity of Participants】
10 persons (minimum number of participants will be 5 persons)
【Highlights】
The "ground of Kunibiki myth", surrounded by Shimane Peninsula, Mt. Daisen, and Mt. Sanbe, has
traced the history of i) part of the continent, ii) detached from the continent, iii) the creation of the
Sea of Japan, and iv) the creation of the largest brackish lakes (Lake Shinji and Nakaumi) in Japan.
These varied geological basements created the local industry, using diversified flora and fauna, and
mineral resources, and which built “Izumo culture”. In the Kunibiki region, we can see the natural
landscapes, which have generated the ancient people’s conception of earth and its related Japanese
myths.
【Itinerary】
Sun 20/9/2015
★Move from Tottori station to Matsue station by train separately.
(Amount of time required is about 1.5 hours.)
Stay at a hotel near Matsue station.
Mon 21/9/2015
★Meeting at Matsue station at 9:00
★Koizu Coast region (alternation of sand and mud of turbidite)
Lunch
★Hinomisaki region (columnar joint in rhyolite and Izumo Hinomisaki Lighthouse)
★Inasa Beach and Izumo-taisha (the world of Izumo Myths)
★Arrival at Matsue station at 16:30
※You can go to Izumo airport or Yonago airport. Negotiable.
