＜堀田新五郎商店（太鼓）
、有松・鳴海絞会館＞
名古屋商工会議所は、名古屋地域の産業の発展のために活動している経済団体
です。このたび名古屋商工会議所では、留学生の皆さんにこの地域をもっと知っ
てもらうため、産業視察会を開催します。
今回は、太鼓の製造販売を行い、９３０年に及ぶ歴史を持つ「堀田新五郎商店」
と、愛知県を代表する伝統工芸品として知られている「有松・鳴海絞り」につい
て学び・体験をすることができる、有松・鳴海絞会館を訪問します。

【視察先詳細】
＜堀田新五郎商店（太鼓）＞
各種太鼓の製造・販売、及び修理・革張替えを行う。９３０年余りの歴史を持つ。その太鼓は、
伊勢神宮、熱田神宮、多度大社、多賀大社ほか多くの神社仏閣で使用されている。昭和１０年に
は、当時の皇太子殿下に太鼓を献上した。
＜有松・鳴海絞会館＞
絞りの歴史資料や技術が、実物を使って分かりやすく展示されている。伝統工芸士による絞り
の実演も必見の価値がある。研修室では希望により絞り体験教室も開かれ、気軽に絞りの世界を
満喫できる。一階展示即売場では有松絞りのすべてを一堂に見ることができる。
絞り体験教室では、ハンカチの絞りを実際に体験していただきます。

area to promote better understanding the technology, history and culture of
the industry in this region.

Visit
< Hotta Shingoro Syouten (Drum) >
Manufacturing and sales of various drums, also providing repair and re-covering leather,
having a history of over 930 years. The drums made by Hotta Shingoro Syouten have been
used at Ise Shrine, Atsuta Shrine, Tado Grand Shrine, Taga Grand Shrine etc. In 1935, a
dedicated drum was presented to the Crown Prince.
< Tie-Dyeing (Arimatsu-Narumi Shibori Kaikan) >
In this house historical items on shibori and the know-hows are exhibited to the public. Also
masters of shibori demonstrate to the visitors how to make shibori, which is worth seeing. On
request visitors can also experience tying in the workshop to see how it works. The first floor
is the exhibition-sale hall, where you can learn all about Arimatsu Shibori.
This time, you will experience "Tie-Dyeing Handkerchief" on site.
