GRIPS は第３回国連防災世界会議(WCDR)を支援しています。
世界と日本の防災政策－津波や地震など大災害への備え
趣旨：国連防災世界会議 WCDR が仙台で開催されるのに合わせ、政策研究大学院大学 GRIPS で実施した調査研究
（政策リサーチセンタープロジェクト研究など）の成果および各国の政府、研究機関や国際機関の地震津波
など大災害対応の防災政策に関する最新の情報を国内外に広く発信するとともに、今後の政策研究や実践の
ために有益な情報交換の機会を設けます。（国際連合教育科学文化機関(UNESCO)と共催で開催します。）

GRIPS supports 3rd World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Sendai.
Disaster Management Policies - Preparedness against Large Tsunamis and Earthquakes etc.
Objective:
National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) and UNESCO will hold an international
symposium on effective disaster management policies against tsunamis, earthquakes etc. based on the research
results of GRIPS and lessons learnt from the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake/Tsunami and other world huge
disasters. In addition this event provides an opportunity to exchange views of students.

management in the world at SENDAI Media Take (approx. 1.5 km from the venue of symposium) from 14 March until 18 March, 2015.
