feel glad to be alive – it’s such an interesting world. It wouldn’t be half so interesting if
we knew all about everything, would it? There’d be no scope for imagination then,
would there? But am I talking too much? People are always telling me I do. Would you
rather I didn’t talk? If you say so I’ll stop. I can stop when I make up my mind to it,
although it’s difficult.’

東洋英和⼥学院は、『赤毛のアン』を翻訳して日本に広めた村岡花子さんが学んだ⼥子教育機関で
す。大学では、英語教育や国際理解教育などに⼒を⼊れております。多くの高校生が英語の朗読に
親しみ、実⼒を発揮する機会になることを願って本コンテストを開催いたします。
◆ 開催概要 ◆
日時：2015 年 3 月 22 日（日）12:00〜13:00 ※オープンキャンパスを 13:00〜16:00 に開催します。
会場：東洋英和⼥学院⼤学５号館神奈川県横浜市緑区三保町３２
（東急⽥園都市線「⻘葉台」
、ＪＲ横浜線「⼗日市場」、相鉄線「三ツ境」各駅よりバス）
審査：予備審査
『赤毛のアン』より所定のパッセージを音読したものを録音し、音声データを送付する。
本審査
予備審査通過者は、コンテスト会場で事前に提示された本審査課題を朗読する。
表彰：東洋英和⼥学院大学学⻑賞図書カード３万円分
銀賞図書カード１万５千円分
銅賞図書カード５千円分

用紙をメールに添付して本学へ送ってください。
