Rotary International District 2750 ROTARY CLUB OF TOKYO HIROO International Friendship / a bilingual club 高根会長年度 第520回例会 2012 年 10 月 11 日 第 471 号 10月11日（木） ニコラスSAA委員長 ■高根会長 President Takane 先週の金曜日は JDA との打ち合わせがあり吉田さん、服部さん、大垣さんと私が参加しました。また今週の月曜日 はケニア大使館で東京白金 RC と東京田園調布 RC とケニアプロジェクトの合同会議を開きました。 さて、今日は小さなクラブの長所に関してクラブ協議会を開催します。7 月に申し上げましたが、会員増強はとても大切 な課題ではございますが, ロータリースピリット、紳士的で心の温かい方にメンバーになって頂きたいと思っております。 クラブの価値は会員数ではなく会員の質だと信じております。 We had a meeting with JDA last Friday, Yoshida-san, Hatttori-san, Ohgaki-san and I have joined it. I had a joint meeting at Kenya Embassy this Monday with Tokyo Shirogane RC and Tokyo Denenchofu RC. We will have a club assembly today about small club with strong points. I gave a speech at the begining of July about increasing members for small club. It is a very important issue. However, we cannot proceed with people who do not have Rotarian sprit, gentleness and sense of cooperation. Club value is not how many members we have, but the members’ quality. ■大垣幹事 Secretary Ohgaki みなさん、こんにちは。はじめに当面のスケジュールについてお話します。 10 月のゲストスピーカーは、18 日が服部さんご紹介の大空メイ様、25 日が先 日例会にお出でいただいた林克好様にお願いしてあります。11 月のゲストス ピーカーは、22 日がロータリー財団ピースフェローの学生に、29 日が御手洗 さんご紹介のナオミ・ポラックさんにお願いしてあります。 Hello, everyone. First, I will talk about the schedule coming ahead. We will have Ms Mａｙ Oozora, introduced by Hattori san on Oct 18th and Mr Katsuyoshi Hayashi who came to the latest Reikai on Oct 25th as the guest speaker. Following the October schedule we will have the Rotary Peace Fellow student supported by the Rotary Foundation on Nov.22nd. Ms Naomi Pollock introduced by Mitarai san will give us a speech on Nov.29th. 11 月 1 日は懇親ボーリング大会、直前に例会をおこないます。当日はヒルズでのランチタイムの例会はありませんの でご注意ください。16 日には 12 時 30 分からホテルオークラにおいて山の手東 10 クラブの合同例会があります。15 日 のランチタイムの例会はありませんので、こちらもお間違えないようにお願いします。12 月 20 日にはクリスマス例会を 予定していますので、スケジュールへの書き込みをお願いします。 On Nov.1st , reikai and the “Bowling party”will be held at the American Club. Please take note that there will be no Reikai at the Roppongi Hills club on that day. The joint meeting with 10 clubs of Yamanote east group is also scheduled on Nov.16th at Hotel Okura starting at 12:30. There is no Reikai on Nov.15th at the Roppongi Hills club. Furthermore, Christmas dinner (Reikai) is scheduled on Dec.20th. Please mark it in your schedule book. 次に、10 月は米山強化月間、メンバーの方にはお一人 10,000 円のサポートをお願いします。先ほどお話した山の手 東 10 クラブ合同例会の参加費はお一人 2,500 円になります。のちほど回覧があると思いますが、参加される方は回覧 の封筒に参加費を入れてください。 October month is the promotion month for Yoneyama scholarship. All the members are requested to donate 10,000 yen for the Yoneyama Scholarship. We will also collect the registration fee \2500 for the Yamanote east joint meeting on Nov.16th.
