came in to get out of the rain. Tap, tap, tap. The goat thought, the visitor was

“Who’s there?” The wolf asked.

“I am OK, but I have a cold.”

“Neither can I. All we can do is to hear each other.”
The goat was going to say, “You have such a low voice, just like a wolf ’s,” but
he did not say it, because he thought it would hurt the newcomer’s feelings. The
wolf wanted to say, “You have such a high voice, just like a goat’s,” but he did not

say it, because he thought it would be rude.
“Where do you live?” asked the goat.
“In the Baku-Baku Valley, answered the wolf.

Then another lightning flash came. The terrified two jumped to each other,
and hugged.
“I’m so scared of lightning.”
“I’m also afraid of lightning.”

“Well, how about eating lunch together someday?” asked the goat.
“That’s a good ( 4 ). I thought it was a bad night on account of this storm, but
now I think it is a good night because I met you.” The wolf looked out of the door
and said, “Oh, it’s not raining. The storm is over. Some stars are shining through
