Publication of scientific journals establish themselves based on "relationship of mutual trust" by the world of researchers, including an author, a person of review, an editor. However, in late years it is not unusual to face an incident to be questioned about a double contribution, or data manipulation. The correspondence to such an unjust submission and violation of publication ethic becomes an international issue that a researcher faces today. We are inviting Dr. Liz Wager, who is a former-chair of Committee of Publication Ethics (COPE*), and she will cover basics of publication ethics and the duty of researchers. We would like participation of authors, reviewers, and editors. *COPE is a forum for editors of peer-reviewed journals to discuss issues related to the integrity of the scientific record. It supports and encourages editors to report, catalogue and instigate investigations into ethical problems in the publication process. Dr. Liz Wager Former Chair, Committee on Publication Ethics Speaker Biography Dr Elizabeth (Liz) Wager is a freelance publications consultant and trainer and has worked with scientists, editors and writers on six continents. Before setting up her own company, Sideview, she worked in the publishing and pharmaceutical industries (for Blackwell Scientific, Janssen Cilag and GlaxoSmithKline). She chaired the Committee on Publication Ethics (2009-12) and is a member of the BMJ’s Ethics Committee, the World Association of Medical Editors Ethics Committee, and the CONSORT for Abstracts steering group.
