上智大学と藤女子大学は、カトリック大学として日本の歴史に長らく足跡を刻んできました。前者はこの 2013 年に創立 100 周年、後者は来たる 2015 年に学園創立 90 周
年を迎え、ともにカトリック精神にもとづく建学理念と教育目標の実現に励んできました。両校は、グローバル化が進展する現代にあって相互の連携をさらに発展させ、
新たな高等教育の課題を敷衍しつつ地域に密着した大学のあり方を追い求めていきます。このたび、札幌にてともに長く教育事業に携わってきた北海学園大学、北星学園
大学のご協力を得て、「次世代を担う若者への教育とは何か」をめぐり公開の討論を行います。
