Nelle moto di ultima generazione la centralina, grazie alla sonda lambda, è in grado di correggere la quantità di carburante che deve essere iniettata perché la carburazione sia costante, anche in area di Closed Loop. L’O2 controller permette di controllare totalmente la carburazione, per ottenere un rapporto aria/benzina ottimale. L’emulatore Lambda Malossi è un dispositivo in grado di simulare i segnali della sonda lambda che la centralina originale del veicolo si aspetta di ricevere. In questo modo la sonda lambda originale viene utilizzata per ottenere la carburazione ottimale, senza che la centralina originale rilevi guasti o errori.
