The current name of the company was founded in 1919 thanks to the merger of Pauly & C., established in 1902 as the Venetian company with the largest number of showrooms founded by Pauly, Hellman, Toldo and Graziadei, along with CVM founded in 1866 by the archaeologist Layard, the historian Sir William Drake and the lawyer Salviati. In 150 years the company has furnished with its unique pieces royal palaces, private houses and public buildings, It has as well participated to several international art events. Faithful to its history Pauly & C. | CVM has not allowed itself to be seduced by industrialization, preferring instead to carry on the traditional craft for a niche market, because style, quality and luxury can not compromise with mass production.
