Seminar on The role of research and innovation in the bio-economy as a lever for increasing youth employment in the agriculture and forestry sector: success stories and future prospects Florence, Italy, 19 September 2014 Centro Congressi – Piazza Adua, 1 The seminar is aimed at analysing which dynamics, at youth occupational level, can arise from innovation and research activities in the agricultural and forestry areas, highlighting which conditions and sectors of the bioeconomy hold the most potential. Objectives: - Identifying possible synergies and actions to connect resources targeted to the Rural Development, to the Research and to the Economic Development, in order to support those bioeconomy sectors with the most potential for the youth employment. - Development and strengthening of policies to support the training of young people and their entrance in the labor market in connection with bioeconomy-related sectors (provision of training and the labor market).
