Installation Instructions / Istruzioni di installazione / Installatie-instructies / Instrucciones de instalación / Installationsanleitung / Instructions d’installation Alternative Fuel Systems GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS When installing the gas system, compliance is required with the following guidelines: * Check on website www.gficontrolsystems.eu (“Members Area”) version and date of this instruction! * It’s the installer’s responsibility to check the national and/or local regulations and to make all necessary adaptions. * Before starting system installation, remove battery. * If necessary, consult the vehicle maintenance manual before the original parts are disassembled. * All measures and dimensions are given in mm, unless indicated otherwise. * All LPG components must be installed on vehicle chassis/bodywork, except for the Rail. * Do not install LPG ECU against the battery. * When drilling be careful for the underlying parts. Deburr holes in the plating and treat them for rust. * The holes for the injectors must be drilled in accordance with the instructions. Always use the correct drilling jig and be careful with possible shavings. * When installing injector, vacuum and gas fittings, always use sealing locking agent. * Use two spanners to remove a fitting. * Respect torque wrenches. * Use the right pipe clamps when connecting pipes. * Remove any rubber waste due to pipes cut. Blow it away with compressed air. * Cover gas and water pipes with anti-abrasion sheath. * Check measurements given and wire colours and positions. * Use harness electrical connectors when available. * Disconnect original ECU in case of electrical wires soldering needed. * Not pre-cabled connections must be realized through soft soldering. * Prevent the risk of damage from wiring harnesses and pipes. * Keep the area clean while installing gas components. * Avoid friction amongst gas components. * Components must be replaced with other equivalent parts. * After the installation, ensure a watertight seal on harness and pipes. * Observe R115 regulations (R67-01). After installing GFI system: 1. Fill gas tank, connect PC with GFI EZ-Software and carry out self-mapping at idle checking reducer Delta P values and possible gas or water leaks. 2. Check driveability and map by means of a test drive. 3. Correct possible GFI system errors through the EZ-Software. ISTRUZIONI GENERALI Durante l’installazione a gas le seguenti raccomandazioni dovranno essere seguite: * Controllare la versione e la data di questa instruzione sul nostro sito web www.gficontrolsystems.eu (“Members Area”)! * È responsabilità dell’installatore controllare le regolamentazioni nazionali e/o locali affinché eventuali adeguamenti siano necessari. * Prima di iniziare l’installazione del sistema, smontare la batteria. * Se necessario, consultare il manuale di manutenzione dell’autovettura prima che le parti originali vengano smontate. * Tutte le misure e dimensioni sono espresse in millimetri, se non diversamente specificato. * Tutti i componenti GPL ad eccezione del Rail devono essere installati sul telaio/scocca della vettura. * Non installare la centralina GPL a contatto con la batteria. * Durante le forature prestare attenzione ai componenti sottostanti. Rimuovere tutte le bave risultanti dalle forature e trattarle con antiruggine. * I fori per gli iniettori devono essere effettuati secondo le istruzioni. Usare sempre un trapano adeguato e prestare attenzione alla formazione di eventuali trucioli. * Durante il montaggio dei raccordi iniettore, raccordi depressione, raccordi gas, usare sempre del prodotto frena filetti. * Per rimuovere un raccordo, usare sempre due chiavi. * Rispettare le indicazioni sulle coppie di serraggio. * Usare sempre le corrette fascette durante la connessione delle tubazioni. * Non lasciare residui di gomma durante il taglio delle tubazioni. Soffiarle con aria compressa. * Rivestire le tubazioni gas ed acqua con della guaina anti-abrasione, nei punti di possibile contatto con altri componenti. * Controllare le misure, i colori e le posizioni dei cavi. * Quando presenti utilizzare i connettori elettrici del cablaggio. * Scollegare la centralina ECU originale nel caso di saldature di fili elettrici. * Le connessioni non precablate devono essere effettuate tramite saldatura a stagno. * Prevenire il rischio di danno al cablaggio ed alle tubazioni. * Curare la pulizia durante le operazioni di montaggio di tutte le parti gas. * Evitare qualsiasi tipo di sfregamento dei componenti gas. * I componenti vanno sostituiti con altri di uguali caratteristiche. * Dopo l’installazione del sistema, verificare la tenuta acqua sul cablaggio e sulle tubature. * Rispettare le regolamentazioni R115 (R67-01). Dopo l’installazione del sistema GFI: 1. Fare gas, collegare il computer con il software GFI EZ-Software e fare l’automappatura al minimo verificando i valori del Delta P del riduttore installato ed eventuali perdite di gas o acqua. 2. Verificare la guidabilità e la mappatura tramite la prova su strada. 3. Correggere eventuali errori del sistema GFI tramite il software EZ-Software. Instruction Nr. / Istruzione N° / Instructie Nr. / No.Instrucción / Anleitungs Nr. / No. d’instruction GFNTA050005 28_02_2013 1/21 Installation Instructions / Istruzioni di installazione / Installatie-instructies / Instrucciones de instalación / Installationsanleitung / Instructions d’installation Alternative Fuel Systems ALGEMENE INSTRUCTIES Bij het installeren van de gasinstallatie, wordt de naleving dienen de volgende richtlijnen: * Controleer op de website van www.gficontrolsystems.eu (“Members Area”) versie en datum van deze instructie! * Het is de installateur is verantwoordelijk voor de nationale en / of lokale regels te controleren en alle nodige aanpassingen te maken. * Voordat u begint met installatie van het systeem, verwijder de batterij. * Raadpleeg zo nodig de auto onderhoudsboekje voor de originele onderdelen worden gedemonteerd. * Alle maatregelen en afmetingen in mm, tenzij anders aangegeven. * Alle LPG onderdelen moeten worden geïnstalleerd op chassis / carrosserie, met uitzondering van de Rail. * Gebruik geen LPG ECU te installeren tegen de batterij. * Let bij het boren voor de onderliggende onderdelen. Ontbramen gaten in de beplating en tegen roest behandelen. * De gaten voor de injectoren moet geboord volgens de instructies. Gebruik altijd de juiste boormal en wees voorzichtig met mogelijke krullen. * Bij het installeren van injector, vacuüm en gas armaturen, altijd een afdichtend borgmiddel. * Use two spanners to remove a fitting. * Respect momentsleutels. * Gebruik de juiste buisklemmen bij het aansluiten van leidingen. * Verwijder alle rubber afval als gevolg van buizen snijden. Blaas het weg met perslucht. * Bedek gas-en waterleidingen met anti-slijtage schede. * Controleer opgegeven maten en draadkleuren en posities. * Gebruik gordel elektrische aansluitingen, indien beschikbaar. * Koppel originele ECU in het geval van elektrische draden solderen nodig. * Niet pre-bekabelde verbindingen moeten worden gerealiseerd door zachtsolderen. * Voorkom het risico van schade als gevolg van kabelbomen en leidingen. * Houd het gebied schoon tijdens het installeren van gas-componenten. * Vermijd wrijving tussen gascomponenten. * Componenten moeten worden vervangen door andere gelijkwaardige onderdelen. * Na de installatie, zorgen voor een waterdichte afdichting op harnas en leidingen. * Let op R115 regelgeving (R67-01). Na de installatie van GFI systeem: 1. Vul gastank, sluit PC met GFI EZ-software en het uitvoeren van zelf-mapping bij stationair controle reducer Delta P-waarden en mogelijke gas of water lekt. 2. Controleer rijeigenschappen en kaart aan de hand van een proefrit. 3. Correcte mogelijk GFI systeemfouten via de EZ-Software. INSTRUCCIONES GENERALES Cumplir con las instrucciones siguientes instalando el sistema de gas: * Revise en nuestra pagina web www.gficontrolsystems.eu (“Área Reservada”) la fecha y versión de esta instrucción! * El instalador tiene la responsabilidad de cumplir con las regulaciones locales y/o nacionales y realizar las adaptaciones necesarias. * Antes de instalar el sistema, desmonte la batería. * Si necesario, consulte el manual del vehículo antes de desconectar cualquier parte del mismo. * Todas las medidas son en mm, salvo indicación en contrario. * Todos los componentes GLP deben instalarse sobre el chasis/bastidor del vehículo, excepto por el Rail. * No instale la centralita GLP en contacto con la batería. * Cuando taladre, tenga cuidado especial en las partes inferiores. Lime los agujeros y trátelos contra corrosión. * Los agujeros de los inyectores tienen que ser taladrados de acuerdo a las instrucciones. Utilice la plantilla de perforación correcta y tenga cuidado en la formación de virutas. * Durante la instalación de los empalmes inyector, vacío y gas, siempre utilice agente sellador en la roscas. * Siempre utilice dos llaves para quitar un empalme. * Respete todos los pares de torsión. * Utilice los anillos de manguera correctos cuando conecte los tubos. * No deje residuos de goma cortando los tubos. Sople con aire comprimido. * Revista los tubos gas y agua con vaina anti-abrasión. * Verifique las medidas, los colores del cableado y sus posiciones. * Utilice los conectores eléctricos del cableado si presentes. * Desconecte la centralita originaria en caso de soldaduras de cables eléctricos. * Las conexiones no precableadas deben realizarse a través de estañado. * Prevenga el riesgo de daño del cableado y tubos. * Mantenga el área limpia durante el montaje de los componentes gas. * Evite el rozamiento entre los componentes gas. * Los componentes deben reemplazarse con otros equivalentes. * Luego de la instalación, verifique la estanqueidad agua de cableado y tubos. * Respete las regulaciones R115 (R67-01). Luego de la instalación del sistema GFI: 1. Llene el tanque de gas, conecte el ordenador con el GFI EZ-Software y ejecute automapeado al ralentí verificando los valores de Delta P del reductor instalado y posibles fugas de gas o agua. 2. Verifique la conducción y el mapa a través de una prueba práctica. 3. Corrija errores eventuales del sistema a través del EZ-Software. Entgraten Löcher in der Beschichtung und gegen Rost behandeln. * Die Löcher für die injektoren muss in Übereinstimmung mit den Anweisungen gebohrt werden. Verwenden Sie immer die richtige Bohrvorrichtung und vorsichtig sein mit möglichen Späne. * Bei der Installation Injektor, Vakuum-und Gasarmaturen, immer Abdichtung bensicherung. * Verwenden Sie zwei Schraubenschlüssel, um ein passendes zu entfernen. * Respekt Drehmomentschlüssel. * Verwenden Sie die richtigen Rohrschellen beim Verbinden von Rohrleitungen. * Entfernen Sie keine Gummi-Abfälle aufgrund Rohre geschnitten. INSTRUCTIONS GENERALES Veuillez respecter les instructions suivantes pendant l’installation du système gaz: * Merci de vérifier sur notre site internet www.gficontrolsystems.eu (“Espace Réservé”) la version et la date de cet instruction! * C’est la responsabilité du mécanicien de vérifier et respecter les normes nationales et/ou locales. * Avant le montage de l’installation gaz, déconnectez la batterie. * Consultez, si nécessaire, le manuel d’entretien du véhicule avant le démontage des pièces originales. * Sauf autrement indiqué, toutes les mesures sont exprimées en mm. * Tous les composants GPL doivent être installés sur le châssis/coque du véhicule, sauf le Rail. * Ne pas installer le calculateur GPL au contact de la batterie. * Faites attention aux pièces adjacentes pendant les perçages. Les trous réalisés dans la tôle doivent être ébavurés et protégés contre la rouille. * Le perçage des trous pour les injecteurs doit être fait selon l’instruction de montage. Utilisez toujours le gabarit spécifique et faites attention à la formation de copeaux. * Pendant le montage des raccords injecteurs, dépression, gaz, utilisez toujours un produit d’étanchéité sur les filets. * Utilisez toujours deux clés pour enlever un raccord. * Respectez les couples de serrage. * Serrez toujours les tuyaux avec les colliers corrects. * Ne pas laisser résidu en gomme en coupant les tuyaux. Soufflez à l’air comprimé. * Recouvrez les tuyaux gaz et eau avec de la gaine anti-abrasion. * Contrôlez à l’avance les mesures, les couleurs des fils et les positions indiquées. * Utilisez les connecteurs électriques du câblage si disponibles. * Déconnectez le calculateur original en cas de soudure de câbles. * Les connexions non pré-câblées doivent être réalisées avec soudure à l’étain. * Prévenez le risque de dommages au câblage et aux tuyaux. * Gardez l’aire propre pendant le montage des composants gaz. * Evitez les frottements entre les composants gaz. * Les composants doivent être remplacés avec d’autres équivalents. * Après l’installation, assurez l’étanchéité à l’eau du câblage et des tuyaux. * Respectez la réglementation R115 (R67-01). Après l’installation du système GFI: 1. Faites le plein de GPL, connectez l’ordinateur avec le logiciel GFI EZ-Software et exécutez l’auto-mappage au ralenti en vérifiant les valeurs du Delta P du vapo-détendeur installé et l’absence de fuites de gaz ou eau. 2. Vérifiez la conduite et la cartographie à travers d’un essai sur route. 3. Corrigez les erreurs éventuelles du système GFI à travers du logiciel EZ-Software.
