But it is only with the cooperation of European countries along the Corridor Rhine-Alpine that freight transport by rail will deliver the performance that Europe so desperately needs. A great deal of work has already been done. Now it’s a case of staying on track, creating the necessary capacity and working together for the future of rail freight. At the International Corridor Rhine-Alpine Conference 2014 in Genoa representatives from the fields of business and politics will discuss the outlook and challenges for European rail freight transport between north and south.
