2014 POLITICAL ECONOMY WORKSHOP
Milan, Catholic University, 12-13 May 2014
The workshop goal is to bring together distinguished scholars to discuss the newest research
topics in political economy. We invite submissions of theoretical, empirical and experimental
papers or to express your interest in attending the conference.
Topics of interests include:
• Autocracy and theory of conflicts
• Districting
• Experimental political economy
• Political economy of culture/beliefs
• Political economy of fiscal federalism
• Political economy of media
• Theory of legislatures
• Voting
The workshop will be organized in two parallel sessions with discussants. Additional information

SUBMISSION: Authors interested in presenting are kindly invited to submit a paper as pdf file to:
[email protected] by March 1, 2014. Authors will be informed about
acceptance by March 24, 2014
FEES AND FUNDING: Conference fee is 115 Euros (including social dinner, lunches and
coffee breaks). No conference fee is charged for doctoral students and young researchers.
Limited funding for travel and accommodation expenses is available (upon explicit request at
the moment of the submission).
