OPTIETCH EXTREME Gel Mordenzante Tissotropico
Applicazione
L’acido mordenzante orto fosforico OPTIETCH EXTREME in gel è
utilizzato per preparare lo smalto (dentale) e la dentina in campo
odontoiatrico. OPTIETCH EXTREME è un acido orto fosforico al 36%
in gel con caratteristiche tissotropiche tali da assicurare una fluidità
ottimale. Viene impiegato come agente mordenzante sulla struttura
del dente nelle tecniche di mordenzatura dello smalto ed in quelle
Total Etch. Seguendo attentamente le istruzioni d’uso e le norme di
sicurezza non comporta alcun effetto indesiderato. L’uso prolungato
del mordenzante potrebbe rimuovere i materiali di sottofondo.

- Non utilizzare dopo la data di scadenza.
- La siringa dovrebbe essere richiusa subito dopo l’uso.
Preparazione:
L’area del struttura del dente da sottoporre a mordenzatura
dovrebbe essere adeguatamente isolata.
1) Si raccomanda l’uso di una diga in gomma. Evitare il contatto
con i tessuti molli (pelle, mucose, occhi, ecc.). In caso di contatto,
risciacquare immediatamente con acqua abbondante e contattare
un medico.
2) Prima del trattamento, pulire il dente con una pasta lucidante
priva di fluoro e sostanze oleose utilizzando una cappetta da
profilassi.
3) Rimuovere I residui di pasta risciacquando con acqua ed asciugare la superficie con un getto d’aria.
4) Preparare la cavità per la ricostruzione definitiva. Risciacquare
la cavità con acqua ed asciugare con un getto d’aria senza
essiccare.
5) Proteggere la polpa nella cavità (ricoprendo con un sottofondo). La cavità dovrebbe essere asciutta e priva da impurità
evitando però di essiccare la dentina.
Procedura:
6) Dopo aver scelto e avvitato l’ago monouso idoneo al tipo di
applicazione sulla siringa applicare il gel mordenzante sullo smalto ai bordi della cavità e quando necessario sulla dentina.

Tempi d’azione raccomandati:
15-30 sec. sullo smalto
10-15 sec. sulla dentina
50-80 sec. su denti decidui e denti con elevato contenuto di fluoro
7) Risciacquare per almeno 20 sec. con acqua
8) Asciugare con aria secca e priva d’olio. La superficie mordenzata non deve essere compromessa ne contaminata da saliva fino
alle successive procedure. In caso di contaminazione ripetere
la mordenzatura (ca. 10 sec.). Lo smalto mordenzato dovrebbe
apparire bianco come la calce!
Dopo la mordenzatura procedere con l’applicazione degli adesivi,
ecc., secondo le istruzioni del fabbricante.
Avvertenze di sicurezza:
H 314 provoca gravi ustioni e danni agli occhi.
Indossare guanti protettivi e occhiali di protezione.
SE INGERITO: Sciacquare la bocca. NON indurre il vomito.
SE SULLA PELLE: Lavare con abbondante acqua e sapone.
SE NEGLI OCCHI: Sciacquare con cautela con acqua per alcuni
minuti. Rimuovere le lenti a contatto, se presenti e facile da fare.
Continuare a sciacquare.
Chiamare immediatamente un CENTRO ANTIVELENI o un medico.
Conservare in un contenitore chiuso.
Smaltire il contenuto/contenitore in conformità alle norme locali.
Contiene acido ortofosforico.
Conservazione:
Conservare il prodotto chiuso con l’apposito tappo, ad una temperatura inferiore ai 25°.

Application
OPTIETCH EXTREME phosphoric acid etching gel is used to dress
enamel (tooth) and dentine in Dentistry. It is a 36% phosphoric acid
etching gel with optimum thixotropic flow characteristics. It serves
as an etching of tooth substance for enamel etch technique and Total
Etch Technique. Taking the safety and application instructions into
consideration, there is no known side effects to date. Could remove
under filling material by prolonged usage of etch gel.
- Only for use in Dentistry!
- Not to be used after expiry.
- Syringe should be immediately closed after use.
Recommended Resting time:
15 - 30 sec. On the enamel
10 - 15 sec. On the dentin
50 - 80 sec. On milk tooth and tooth with high fluoride content
7) Minimum 20sec. rinsing with water.
8) Dry with oil and water free air pressure. The etched surface is not
to be disturbed until the next process or contaminated by saliva. In
case of contamination, repeat the etching process (approx.10 sec).
The etched enamel should be chalk white!
After etching proceed to applying adhesives, etc., according to the
manufacturer instructions manual.
Preparation:
The area of the tooth substance to be etched should be clearly isolated.
1) The use of a rubber dam is recommended. Any contact with soft
tissues (skin, oral mucosa, eyes, etc) is to be avoided.
In case of contact with soft tissues, immediately rinse with plenty of
water and seek for medical advise.
2) Before treatment, clean tooth with fluoride and grease free polishing paste with the help of a prophy cup.
3) Remove cleaning residues with water and dry the surface with
air pressure.
4) Prepare the respective cavity to achieve a permanent restoration.
Rinse the cavity with water and dry with air pressure. Avoid over
drying.
5) Protect the dental pulp in the cavity (i.e. cover with a thin layer of
underfilling). The cavity should be dry and free from impurities but
avoid over drying of the dentins.
Safety Instruction:
H 314 Causes severe skin burns and eye damage.
Wear protective gloves and eye protection.
IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.
IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.
Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do.
Continue rinsing.
Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.
Store in a closed container.
Dispose of contents/container in accordance with loca regulations.
Contains ortho-phosphoric acid.
Process
6) Select a disposable needle according the application area and
screw it onto the syringe.
Apply the etching gel on the enamel edges of the cavity and when
necessary on the dentin.
