During the night openings, the public will be able to visit the rooms
of St. Pius V, which contain medieval and Renaissance ceramics and
mosaic miniatures, in vogue in Rome from the end of the eighteenth
century, to decorate small objects.

The ticket includes attendance at the concerts scheduled as part of the musical programme “Il
Bello da Sentire”. - N.B. The ticket does not entitle the holder to a reserved seat at the concert.

An exemption is made for those in possession of an entry ticket for La Venaria Reale in
Turin, issued on Saturday, during the periods 2 May to 25 July and 5 September to 31
October 2014, as part of the musical initiative “Il Bello da Sentire”.

The tours are intended to illustrate the places of greatest cultural and religious interest in the Vatican Museums following a typical itinerary passing through the

MUSICAL VIST “IL BELLO DA SENTIRE” (FOR GROUPS OR SINGLES; ONLY IN ITALIAN)
For the entire duration of the night openings 2014 – in the Fridays indicated in the calendar – and in conjunction with the musical programme “Il Bello da Sentire”,
the Vatican Museums offer their visitors a guided tour on the theme of musical iconography within the Pope’s Museums.
There are three itineraries proposed according to the specified calendar:
1. The Gregorian Profane Museum and the Pio Clementino Museum: music from the old world
(30 May; 13 June; 25 July; 10 October)
2.
The Borgia Apartment and the Modern Religious Art Collection: images and musical references
(23 May; 27 June; 12 September; 24 October)
3.
The Picture Gallery: music to see
(16 May; 11 July; 26 September)
N.B. The three itineraries mentioned above do not include a visit to the Sistine Chapel which can, instead, be visited at the end of the tour.

MUSICAL PROGRAMME “IL BELLO DA SENTIRE”
For the entire duration of the night openings 2014 – on the Fridays indicated in the programme of “Il Bello da Sentire” – the Vatican Museums will host concerts
showcasing young musical talents of two important institutions: the Giuseppe Verdi State Conservatory of Turin and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.
The concerts are freely accessible to all ticketholders for the night openings of the Vatican Museums. Access to the concert space is permitted subject to availability.
