Second Announcement and Call for Papers
The 8th triennial seminar, after Roma (1994), La Maddalena (1997), Siracusa (2000), Napoli (2003),
Civitavecchia (2006), Brindisi (2009) and Roma (2012), will provide a new opportunity for scientists and
engineers to present recent advances and to discuss current problems, future needs and prospects in the
area of marine energies. Major topics and new trends will be introduced through keynote lectures that will
be presented by internationally recognized experts.

Call for Papers
Authors are invited to submit electronically an extended abstract of 2-4 pages with supporting illustrations as appropriate,
to the website http://www.owemes-2015.eu/ section Paper Submission.
Important dates
• Receipt of abstracts: MARCH 31, 2015
• Notification of acceptance: APRIL 30, 2015
• Receipt of Camera-ready manuscripts: September 1, 2015
• Conference in Rome: October 7-9, 2015
Proceedings
Printed book of Proceedings, containing the extended abstracts will be edited by the Chairmen before the meeting. All
invited and accepted contributed papers (6 pages) received in the final form prior to the given deadline will be available in a
reserved area on the Conference web site that will be accessible to all the registered participants. The Technical Committee
will review all papers to assess their suitability for publication in the proceedings. Papers will be published on Energy
Procedia, Elsevier, after the Symposium. Selected papers will be published on Wind Engineering, MultiScience, UK.

The fee covers the symposium proceedings (printed book of abstracts,
publication on Energy Procedia, Elsevier), refreshments, lunches and

Students fee does not cover social programme.
