Aims of the courses
The objective of the courses is the advanced vocational training of opera singers and répétiteurs, with the purpose of
favouring a solid beginning and advancement of the career. Young artists will be
given the opportunity to attend lessons
of highly qualified specialization, with
the purpose of improving their technical,
stylistic, interpretive and scenic skills
and the expansion of cultural knowledge
necessary to practice the profession.
Duration of the Course
Courses will run from November 2015
through June 2016, with a possible extension for activities of work experience
up to September 2016.
Benefit
The first eight Singers qualified in the
final ranking will be awarded a scholarship equal to € 1,800 per month (from
November 2015 to June 2016).

The first two Répétiteurs qualified in the
final ranking will be awarded a scholarship equal to € 1,200 per month (from
November 2015 to June 2016).
Productions
The Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino | Opera di Firenze and the partner opera-symphonic Institutions may offer the
young artists the possibility to participate
in operas and concerts in their season
billboard, in title or cover roles.
