Racingpost: It's not entirely clear what Lone Angel achieved in a
three-runner race at Chelmsford and she's now pitched into a deeper
maiden, but she's the only runner with an outing under her belt and may
put that experience to good use. Of the newcomers, GREAT PAGE has
particularly strong credentials and it's also interesting that David Evans,
who won this race last year, sends out four runners. The betting should
reveal more clues.[Steve Boow]
Racingpost: The lightly raced 4yo FEAR OR FAVOUR finished last on
his most recent AW start but he may prove suited by this return to turf
and looks well handicapped if that's the case. He has progressive form
in this sphere and races off the same mark as when runner-up in a
good handicap at Newmarket last May. Divine looks interesting back
down in class on her reappearance, while Democretes (who was a
close third in this race two years ago) and Dont Have It Then also figure
highly in calculations. The long-absent Bushcraft needs to be monitored
in the betting.[Steve Boow]

5e Koers 19:55uur - 2335 m
Racingpost: GO NANI GO finished a close third on AW at Lingfield last
time out and that effort sets him up nicely for this return to turf. He'd run
well at the same venue before scoring off 1lb higher at Musselburgh
during this month last year. His main dangers may be Groundworker
and Cruise Tothelimit, with most of the others not certain to be suited by
today's trip/ground.[Steve Boow]

Cotton Club, 15/2 King Calypso, 15/2 Dolphin Village, 8/1 Jebril, 9/1
Graffiti Art, 9/1 Hedge End, 12/1 Barizan, 12/1 Carthage
Racingpost: ARC LIGHTER is unexposed at this sort of trip, was
second off a reduced mark at Kempton last month and could be a major
force off the same figure back on turf. King Calypso was a highly
progressive four-time winner on Polytrack last year and is respected
back in this sphere on his return. The others on the shortlist in a
competitive race are Dolphin Village, who is fairly treated under ideal
conditions back on turf, and Cosette, who should get a good tow into
the race and was successful over C&D on her seasonal return last
year.[David Moon]

Bank Of Gibraltar, 50/1 Everywish, 100/1 Izzy Too
Selecties GBI: 9 Cotton Club - 2 Barizan - 8 Jebril - 1 Arc Lighter
Racingpost: Christmas Hamper and Bank Of Gibraltar should step up
on their debut efforts but the standard is set by WILD STORM, who was
beaten only a neck in a fillies' maiden at Kempton in October. There are
doubts over Archilles (headstrong) and Scarlet Minstrel (may need
further this year). The newcomers Areiopagos (a stablemate of
Christmas Hamper) and Declan need to be monitored in the
betting.[Steve Boow]

Racingpost: SPARRING (nap) improved upon his debut form when
winning a 1m2f Lingfield maiden in January and the runner-up scored
on her next run before going close off a mark of 76 last time. Charlie
Appleby's Teofilo colt has plenty of scope for further progress on his
handicap/turf debut and makes plenty of appeal off what could be a
lenient mark. Diamond Joel and Prince Of Cardamom are feared most,
though Justice Belle would also be interesting if strong in the market on
her handicap/seasonal debut.[David Moon]
