and was far from disgraced in a good Ascot event last time. He looks
interesting now hurdling but HEDLEY LAMARR made a very decent
start to his career when chasing home a useful one at Bangor and is
marginally preferred. German Flat winner Stanley and Irish pointer
Kavanaghs Corner didn't do themselves justice on their hurdle debuts

which AMERICAN LEGEND bounced back to form at Doncaster last
time, but that was a really encouraging run on the wrong ground and
conditions should be far more up his street here. Barton Gift and
Incentivise are closely matched and can have a say, while Milosam is
also worth considering despite playing away from his beloved

hinted at minor ability in a better race at Exeter last time and this should
be much more her level. A sharper track should suit War And Contrition
and though his jumping is still apt to let him down he may prove the
biggest threat. Brave Helios is on a more reasonable mark now and is
also considered but Flat winner Crouching Harry has something to
