By February, chances are a lot of our New Year’s resolutions have been shelved and put
off for one more revolution around the Sun. That’s the bad news. The good news is:
there’s no need to wait until next year to set new intentions for the lives we’re living!
At SP&C, you are invited year-round to join our communities to take stock of what’s
important to you, what aspects are your life are going well and are worth sharing and
celebrating, and where the room for personal and spiritual development lies. We are
always looking for more ways to do this! Your ideas are vital: don’t hesitate to mail them

monastery in the Belgian Ardennes.
Experience the life style of the monks. Go to
Laudes at the crack of dawn, refter readings at
your dinner table. Let yourself be soaked in the
Byzantine or Latin atmosphere of the chapel
celebrations.
We travel together by small bus, and stay at the
guesthouse of the monastery. An event you will
never forget, with a group of people you will
quickly be familiar with.
So join us walking, talking and being silent from
Friday up to and including Sunday, May 22 - 24.

prayer in the Arboretum Church.
In the tradition of the ecumenical
congregation of Taizé we gather
in silence, singing, reading and
praying. This meeting is multilingual.

Spirit in je leven!
at helpt je om bewust je leven te
leven? Wat doet er voor jou echt toe?
Het werkt om zulke vragen met elkaar rond
een grote pan soep vanuit verschillende
invalshoeken te bekijken. We putten hiervoor
uit onze eigen ervaring en uit het boek Spirit,
de weg van bezieling, waarin studenten aan
het woord komen over o.a. vriendschap,
succes, geluk en creativiteit.
Daarnaast maken we gebruik van de
wijsheid en levenskunst van verschillende
levensbeschouwelijke
tradities
zoals
christendom, boeddhisme, jodendom en
humanisme. Een deelnemer vatte Spirit op
de volgende manier samen: “Prikkelende
vragen, een stel luisterende oren, openheid,
diversiteit, gezelligheid en samen zoeken
naar de kern”. Nieuwsgierig geworden?
Schuif dan gezellig een avond aan! We
komen onder leiding van studentenpastor
Gerke van Hiele één keer in de twee weken
op woensdag samen.
