Public transport
Please note: During weekends AAP can
not be reached using public transport from
Almere Stad, Central Station.
1. From Almere
From the Almere Centrum station, take the number 156
regional bus to Hilversum. Your stop is De Kemphaan on
the Waterlandseweg. Go down the stairs and left through
the tunnel onto the Stevenspad. Continue at 3.
2. From Hilversum/Utrecht
The number 156 regional bus departs from the Hilversum
and Hilversum Sportpark train stations towards Almere
Centrum. Leave the bus at De Kemphaan on the
Waterlandseweg, follow the path and turn left onto the
Stevenspad. Continue at 3.
3A. Visiting the Apeneilanden
(monkey islands)
At the crossing, go straight ahead to the Kemphaanpad.
Keep the AAP grounds at your right. Take the first right to
the Kemphaan building (lots of wood and glass). Just after
the bridge, the entrance to the Apeneilanden is on your
right.
3B. To the AAP office
At the crossing with the Kemphaanweg, go straight onto
the Kemphaanpad. Take the first path to the left. The main
entrance of Stichting AAP is on your left. Visitors who have
an appointment please report to the reception.
By car
1. From Amsterdam
•From the A1 at Muiderberg take the A6 in the direction
of Almere/Lelystad.
•Take exit 5 Almere-Stad/Utrecht/Zeewolde.
•At the traffic lights, turn right onto the N305
(Waterlandseweg) towards Utrecht/Zeewolde.
•Follow the N305 until exit De Kemphaan.
•Turn left towards De Kemphaan.
•Continue at 4.
2. From Utrecht
•From Hilversum/Amersfoort take the A27 towards
Almere.
•Just after the Stichtse Brug bridge, take exit 36 towards
Almere Stad/Almere Haven/Zeewolde.
•At the traffic lights, turn left onto the N305
(Waterlandseweg) in the direction of Almere Stad/
Almere Haven.
•Follow the N305 until exit De Kemphaan.
• Turn right towards De Kemphaan.
•Continue at 4.
3. From Lelystad
•From Lelystad take the A6 towards Almere.
•Take exit 5 Almere-Stad/Utrecht/Zeewolde.
•At the traffic lights, turn right onto the N305
(Waterlandseweg) in the direction of Utrecht/Zeewolde.
•Follow the N305 until exit De Kemphaan.
•Turn left towards De Kemphaan.
•Continue at 4.
4A. Visiting the Apeneilanden
(monkey islands)
To visit the Apeneilanden go straight onto the
Kemphaanlaan after the traffic lights. You can park
your car on the parking lot belonging to De Kemphaan.
Behind the De Kemphaan building you can find the
entrance to the Apeneilanden.
4B. To the AAP office
Directly after the traffic lights, turn left to the
Kemphaanweg. After 350 metres, go straight across the
crossing with the Stevenspad/Kemphaandpad, into the
cul-de-sac. Turn right onto the parking lot at the end.
The main entrance of Stichting AAP is on your right.
Visitors who have an appointment please report to the
reception.
