“The purpose of this presentation --"AntiViral Strategies and Immune Nutrition"-- is to provide
doctors and other clinicians with access to proven clinical protocols to improve immunity and
fight infections, especially viral infections. Viral infections affect all of us at all times; everyone
is "infected" with numerous endogenous retroviruses, herpesvirus infections generally infect
nearly 100% of worldwide human populations in multiple forms because most people have
several herpesvirus infections at the same time. Recently, we have all seen international
epidemics of measles, enterovirus D68, and Ebola virus, while millions of people have viral
hepatitis, HIV, and HPV. This completely streamlined and re-organized outline is updated from
Dr. Vasquez’s previous versions published in 2009 and the most recent previous version
published in Rheumatology v3.5. Dr. Vasquez will outline the 4-part strategy and then detail
the components of the strategy, emphasizing the use of nutrients and botanicals to directly
target viral infections, to block viral replication, to support immunity, and to protect/improve
overall health to optimize defenses and promote rapid recovery. Emphasis will be placed on
herpes viruses (affecting up to 90% of the population, tightly liked to Alzheimer's dementia)
and the role of viral infections in autoimmunity, especially systemic lupus erythematosus
(SLE/lupus), scleroderma, and Sjogren's syndrome."

Dr. Alex Vásquez, een productief schrijver, veelgevraagd spreker en toonaangevend
onderzoeker, behaalde als enige drie dokterstitels in drie afzonderlijke medische specialiteiten
(chiropractie, natuurgeneeskunde en osteopathische geneeskunde) aan Amerikaanse
