Internationale Glaskunstbiënnale (IGB) - 6 t.e.m. 14 december 2014

De International Glass Biënnale (IGB) zal niet alleen kunstenaars, glaskunstliefhebbers en
het publiek inspireren en verbazen maar tevens uniek zijn in haar overzichtelijkheid en
toegankelijkheid op alle niveaus.Volgens de curator en organisator van het evenement
zullen traditionele technieken zoals glasblazen en glas-casting steeds in deze
glassbiënnales aanwezig zijn doordat wij telkens opnieuw wereldwijd een zeer groot aantal
zeer bekwame ambachtslieden ontdekken.Deze Biënnale presenteert sterke talenten in een
wereld van glas die dit ambacht als een volwaardige en complete kunstvorm weten voor te
stellen.
The International Glass Biennial ( IGB) will not only inspire and amaze artists, glass
enthusiasts and the public but is also is unique in its breadth and accessibility for all levels of
interest.According to the curator and organiser of the event traditonal techniques such as
glass-blowing and glass-casting will always be represented in our Glass Biennials as we
discovered a very large number of highly skilled craftspeople worldwide.
This 2nd edition of IGB will show artists experimenting with newer technologies where
others are intrested in exploring the methaporic possibilities of place and consider their
works to be complex living spaces in cast glass.
This Biennials presents strong talents appearing into the world of glass which can only push
this craft forward as a complete artform.

InternationaleTextielkunsttentoonstelling (ITA) – 2- jaarlijks
21 februari – 1 maart 2015 (21.02 – 1.03.2015)
Location : Gemeenschapscentrum Den Breughel – Wespelaarsesteenweg 85 – 3150 Haacht
Eveneens zoals bij de Glaskunst mocht de Kunststichting op een zéér grote interesse rekenen voor deze
1ste Internationale Textielkunstbiënnale –140 internationale kandidaturen mochten wij ontvangen waaruit
68 deelnemers uit 20 landen werden geselecteerd.
ITA belooft dus een zeer gevarieerd en uitermate belangrijk event voor de textielkunst te worden.
A very promissing event for the International Textile Artists – based upon the selection of 68 artists the
quality will be extremely high.

De Kunststichting haalt de keramiekkunstenaars vanonder de
spreekwoordelijke toren en pleinen weg en biedt hen een mooie lokatie
waarbij sfeer en gemoedelijkheid samen kwamen.

Kunstenaars uit de hele wereld worden uitgenodigd hun kandidatuur in te dienen voor dit international
evenement. Deze Biënnale biedt glaskunstenaars een unieke gelegenheid hun recent werk te
presenteren (en te verkopen) – het biedt hen ook een uitzonderlijke kans een nieuw publiek te bereiken
en te netwerken met gevestigde verzamelaars en galeriehouders.
Artists from over the World will be invited to apply for selection for this prestigious event. This Biennial
offers ceramic artists a unique possibility to exhibit – it also provides them with an exceptional opportunity
to reach new audiences and to network with established collectors and gallery owners.
