PRESS RELEASE
The 6th Edition of The Hydraulics Symposium takes place on November 13th,
2014 in Cinemec in Ede, The Netherlands.

For the sixth time, Federatie Aandrijven en Automatiseren (FEDA) and Vereniging Platform
Hydrauliek (VPH) organize The Hydraulics Symposium on November 13th, 2014.
This year, the subject of the symposium is "Hydraulics & Maintenance". This very topical subject at
this moment will be approached from different sides, for example engineering, cost control, durability
and safety.
Within this main theme, 20 Dutch and international speakers will appeal subjects from the following
sub themes:
1. Oil Management
2. Maintenance hydraulic hoses in relation to security
3. Condition monitoring
4. Revision and repair
The lectures are held in parallel sessions and have a clear technical news value.
The symposium provides the platform within the Netherlands but also abroad, and is organized to
establish contacts between professional experts and practical operators within the sector. Therefore,
this symposium is interesting for engineers, maintenance managers, producers, scientists, teachers
and students and anyone who is interested or involved in maintenance in relation to hydraulics.
Because this international symposium is pointed at participants from all over Europe the presentations
will be held in English.
Like previous years, the Hydraulics Symposium 2014 is held in the Film-and Congress Center
CineMec in Ede, The Netherlands.
Participation costs per person € 225,--, ex VAT. This includes:
