ACCESSIBILITY DURING TCS AMSTERDAM MARATHON
19TH OF OCTOBER 2014, 9 AM TO 3.15 PM
Dear guest,
On Sunday the 19th of October the TCS Amsterdam Marathon will take place. This event will
influence the accessibility to and from the Hotel Okura Amsterdam between 9 am and 3.15
pm. The Churchilllaan will be closed to all traffic so Hotel Okura Amsterdam can not be
reached by car via the Europalaan and Scheldestraat coming from the Amsterdam RAI. Also,
public transport by tram will be diverted. The trail of the Amsterdam Marathon can be
crossed by foot at Churchilllaan (indicated in green on the picture below).
HOW TO REACH HOTEL OKURA AMSTERDAM
By car
By public transport
Coming from the A10 (Schiphol and Utrecht),
leave the highway at exit S112 (Gooiseweg),
continue through Wibautstraat and take off at
Ruyschstraat which will become Ceintuurbaan.
At the Ceintuurbaan take a left on to Ferdinand
Bolstraat. The hotel can be reached by the
regular entrance. This route is indicated in
black on the picture below.
Tram 12 will not run through the
Ferdinand Bolstraat coming from station
Amsterdam Sloterdijk. Closest stop to
Hotel Okura Amsterdam will be
Ceintuurbaan/Ferdinand Bolstraat.
Coming from Central Station and
Amsterdam city centre take tram 1 or 17
to stop Overtoom and switch there to tram
3 or 12 with direction Muiderpoort or
Amstelstation. Closest stop to Hotel
Okura Amsterdam will be
Ceintuurbaan/Ferdinand Bolstraat.
Coming from Amstelstation you can take
tram 12 to Cornelis Troostplein which is
close to Hotel Okura Amsterdam.
Alternatively, it is also possible to park your car
near the Amsterdam RAI in one of the parking
garages (RAI parking Europaboulevard 1,
€16.50 per day). You can then walk to Hotel
Okura Amsterdam via the Europalaan and
Scheldestraat. The route is indicated in red on
the picture below.

you to travel by public
transport from
Ceintuurbaan/Ferdinand
Bolstraat. Take tram 3 or
12 to stop Overtoom and
switch there to tram 1 with
direction Central Station.
BEREIKBAARHEID TIJDENS TCS AMSTERDAM MARATHON

Geachte gast,
Op zondag 19 oktober vindt de TCS Amsterdam Marathon plaats. Dit evenement heeft
invloed op de bereikbaarheid van Hotel Okura Amsterdam tussen 9.00 en 15.15 uur. De
Churchilllaan wordt geheel afgesloten, dus Hotel Okura Amsterdam is niet bereikbaar via de
Europalaan en Scheldestraat. Ook wordt het openbaar vervoer omgeleid. Het parkoers van
de Amsterdam Marathon kan wel overgestoken worden door voetgangers op de kruising
Churchilllaan en Scheldestraat (groen aangeven op onderstaande plattegrond).
HOE BEREIKT U HOTEL OKURA AMSTERDAM?
Per auto
Per openbaar vervoer
Komende van de rondweg A10 (Schiphol en
Utrecht) verlaat u de snelweg via afslag S112
(Gooiseweg). Vervolg de weg via Wibautstraat
en verlaat de Wibaurstraat links richting
Ruyschstraat. Deze gaat over in de
Ceintuurbaan. Op de Ceintuurbaan slaat u
linksaf naar de Ferdinand Bolsstraat. Het hotel
is vervolgens via de reguliere ingang
bereikbaar. De route vindt u in het zwart op
onderstaande plattegrond.
Tram 12 vanaf Station Amsterdam
Sloterdijk rijdt niet volgens de reguliere
route. De dichtstbijzijnde halte is
Ceintuurbaan/Ferdinand Bolsstraat.
Komende vanuit het centrum van
Amsterdam en het Centraal Station kunt u
reizen met tram 1 of 17 en bij halte
Overtoom overstappen op tram 3 of 12
richting Muiderpoort en Amstelstation. Ook
voor deze route is de dichtstbijzijnde halte
Ceintuurbaan/Ferdinand Bolsstraat.
U kunt uw auto ook parkeren in de
parkeergarage tegenover Amsterdam RAI (RAI
Parking Europaboulevard 1, €16,50 per dag). U
kunt vervolgens richting Hotel Okura
Amsterdam lopen via de Europalaan en
Scheldestraat. Deze route vindt u in het rood
op onderstaande plattegrond.
Vanaf het Amstelstation kunt u reizen met
tram 12 richting Station Sloterdijk en
uitstappen bij halte Cornelis Troostplein.
Deze halte ligt dichtbij het hotel.
HOE BEREIKT U HET
CENTRUM?
De route van de marathon loopt
dwars door de stad. Wij
adviseren u gebruik te maken
van het openbaar vervoer. Vanuit
het hotel loopt u rechtsaf naar
halte Ceintuurbaan/Ferdinand
Bolsstraat en tram 3 of 12 nemen
richting Zoutkeetsgracht of
Station Amsterdam Sloterdijk. U
stapt vervolgens bij halte
Overtoom over op tram 1 of 17
richting Amsterdam Centraal.
