Nieuwe lifelogging camera niet groter dan luciferdoosje
De Duitse camerafabrikant Rollei voegt een nieuw type camera toe aan haar productportfolio:
de Rollei AddEye Cam. De camera is niet groter dan een luciferdoosje en legt automatisch het
dagelijks leven in een digitaal fotoalbum vast. De AddEye Cam is ideaal voor lifelogging: een
relatief nieuwe vorm van bloggen, waarbij alle levensgebeurtenissen in foto’s en video’s worden
vastgelegd. De kleine camera wordt op het lichaam gedragen en maakt na minimaal 5 en
maximaal 30 minuten een foto. Zo ontstaat er een unieke fotoreportage van maximaal 1000
foto’s per dag.
De camera is tevens uitgerust met WiFi en de bijbehorende gratis app geeft via een
smartphone of tablet direct toegang tot de gemaakte beelden. De mooiste herinneringen
kunnen vervolgens makkelijk en snel online gedeeld worden met vrienden en familie. De Rollei
AddEye Cam beschikt over verschillende functionaliteiten, waaronder:

De AddEye Cam is geschikt voor alle denkbare situaties. Verschillende accessoires worden
standaard bij de camera geleverd, zoals een cliphouder, statief, adapter en een halsketting om
de camera mee te bevestigen. Met het standaard meegeleverde softwarepakket kunnen de

Accessoires
Naast de standaard functionaliteiten zijn er ook extra accessoires beschikbaar. Met de AddEye
Head Strap functioneert de camera als derde oog op het hoofd en worden vanuit een ‘first
person’ perspectief opnames gemaakt. De Rollei AddEye hoofdband is vanaf september te
koop voor een adviesprijs van €24,99. De schokbestendige onderwaterbehuizing beschermt de
camera tot wel tien meter diepte. Op deze manier wordt de gebruiker op geen enkele manier in
zijn alledaagse bezigheden geremd. De Rollei AddEye UW Case ligt vanaf september in de
winkel voor een adviesprijs van €34,99.
Rollei op Photokina & IFA
Rollei is in september weer exposant op de twee belangrijkste beurzen in Duitsland: de
Photokina in Keulen en de IFA in Berlijn. Tijdens deze beurzen presenteert Rollei haar nieuwe
producten, waaronder twee nieuwe actioncams en een innovatie op het gebied van
smartphonefotografie. Namens Rollei is CEO Thomas Güttler en Henk Gernand, Key
Accountmanager Benelux aanwezig.
De IFA vindt plaats van 5 tot en met 10 september 2014. De stand van Rollei staat in hal 17,
stand 114.
De Photokina vindt plaats van 16 tot en met 21 september 2014. De stand van Rollei staat in
hal 4.2, stand D-24.
