Xycarb Ceramics in diepe rouw na overlijden tweede medewerker ten gevolge van
een bedrijfsongeval
Op woensdag 13 augustus, 2014 zijn twee medewerkers van Xycarb Ceramics onwel
geraakt tijdens onderhoudswerkzaamheden aan een reinigingsinstallatie. Ter plaatse is
hulpverlening geboden, waarna beide medewerkers naar het ziekenhuis zijn
overgebracht voor verdere behandeling.
Op 14 augustus, 2014 hebben wij reeds het droevige bericht ontvangen dat één van
beide collega’s is overleden.
Tegen alle hoop in hebben wij op 16 augustus, 2014 het onvoorstelbare bericht
ontvangen dat onze tweede collega ook is overleden.
Onze gehele aandacht gaat uit naar beide families, direct betrokken collega’s en
Xycarb’s medewerkers. We steunen de betrokken personen en geven volledige
medewerking aan de autoriteiten die de exacte oorzaak van het ongeval aan het
onderzoeken zijn.
Directie en medewerkers willen via deze weg hun medeleven en steun betuigen aan
familie en vrienden van onze overleden collega’s. We wensen hen veel steun en kracht
met het verwerken van dit enorme verlies.

Xycarb Ceramics in deep mourning after passing of second employee
following a company accident
On Wednesday, the 13th of August, two employees of Xycarb Ceramics became
unwell during a maintenance job at one of the cleaning installations. First aid was
given on location after which both employees were taken in critical condition to local
hospitals for further treatment.
On the 14th of August we received the sad news that one of our colleagues passed
away.
Against all hope we received on the 16th of August the news that our second
colleague also passed away.
Our full concern goes out to both families, direct involved colleagues and Xycarb
employees. We are supporting the people involved and provide full cooperation to the
authorities who are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
The management and employees of Xycarb Ceramics would like to express their
deepest sympathy and support to the family and friends of our deceased colleagues.
We wish them much support and strength in coming to terms with this tremendous
loss.
