Ce road movie suivant les traces d’une bande de jeunes hommes handicapés partis en Espagne pour trouver l’amour charnel a su réjouir nombre de spectateurs, malgré un sujet sur le papier complexe. Avec son nouveau film, Halfweg, Enthoven reforme le trio qu’il formait avec Pierre De Clercq au scénario, et Mariano Vanhoof à la production, trio également aux manettes d’un autre projet plus ambitieux en termes de tournage (entre la Belgique et le Canada), Winnipeg, annoncé ultérieurement. Halfweg a été tourné dans l’un des fleurons de l’architecture Art Nouveau en Belgique, la Villa Carpentier, à Renaix (Ronse), également appelée Maison Horta, du nom du célèbre architecte. www.HALFWEG.be page 3 of 13 synopsis A la faveur d’un divorce, Stef parvient à acheter à bas prix une magnifique maison. Mais dès la première nuit, il tombe nez-à-nez avec Théo, l’ancien propriétaire de la maison. On his resume he has a wide range of shorts and feature films, from his debut ‘Les Enfants de l’Amour’ till the internationally renomated ‘Hasta la Vista’. In 2002 he was awarded the title ‘Producer on the Move’ at the Filmfestival in Cannes.
