KIYOMIZU MACHIYA - How to reach the house The easiest way to go from Kyoto station or from the check-in office to Kiyomizu Machiya is by taxi. The house is about 2 km away from the station and it will take you about 10 minutes and cost about yen 1,000. The indicated route follows the Shichijo Street, crosses the Kamo river, passes in front of the Sanjusangendô Temple and the National Museum, then turns left onto the Higashioji street.
