ABSTRAKSI NILAI MORAL DALAM CER PEN SHIROI TORI KARY A KUSUYAMA MASAO: ANALISIS TEMA, FAKTA CERITA DAN SARA NA SASTRA Rilanda Rezekika Zahra 07/254847/SA/14063 Cerpen Shiroi Tori karya Kusuyama M asao adalah sebuah karya sastra anak yang diterbitkan pada tahun 1942. Ikagotomi, karakter utama dalam cerpen ini, menikah dengan seorang bidadari, mereka pun memiliki anak dari pernikahan tersebut, tetapi dia kehilangan keluarganya karena tidak dapat melindungi sang istri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap struktur cerpen dan nilai moral yang terkandung dalam cerpen. Teori yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural Robert Stanton. M etode penelitian dilakukan sebagai berikut. Pertama, menganalisis unsur-unsur intrinsik seperti tema, fakta cerita dan sarana sastra. Kemudian dari hasil analisis struktural ditentukan nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung di dalam cerpen. Tema besar dari karya ini adalah karakter utama kurang bersyukur terhadap karunia dari Tuhan sehingga menyebabkan tragedi. Be rlatar sosial desa yang penduduknya bermata pencaharian sebagai petani. Nilai moral yang terkandung dalam cerpen Shiroi Tori yaitu, manusia harus bersyukur terhadap anugerah dari Tuhan, melindungi orang-orang yang disayangi, tidak lari dari masalah yang mu ncul dan menolong orang yang membutuhkan bantuan. Secara spesifik diceritakan, karena melakukan hal yang berlawanan dengan nilai moral, maka karakter utama kehilangan hadiah dari Tuhan berupa sang istri dan anak anaknya. Ikagotomi, the main character of the story, married to an angel, they also have children from their marriage but he lost his family because he cannot protect his wife. This research aims to reveal the structure of the short story and the moral values contained in the short story. The theory used in this research is Robert S tanton’s structuralism theory. This research was conducted in a series of method . First, analyze the intrinsic elements such as theme, the fact of the story and literary devices. Then, determine moral values contained in it from the results of structural analysis. The major theme of this short story is the main character less grateful for the gift of God that led to tragedy. Social setting is village whose inhabitants are farmers. M oral values contained in Shiroi Tori are human must be grateful for the grace of God, be able to protect the people they love, must not run from problem and should help those who need help. Specifically told, because he do the opposite from moral values, the main character loses gift from God in the form of his wife and his children.
