(1) 学士課程教育（主に共通教育）における英語教育カリキュラムの企画開発および管理運営
(2) 学士課程教育（主に共通教育）における英語科目の担当
(3) 外国人特定教員（助教）のマネジメント
(4) 学部の専門英語教育への協力
(5) その他，本学が推進する英語教育の改善に関する業務

応募資格
次の(1)～(4)の要件をすべて満たすこと。(5),(6)の要件を満たしていることが望ましい。
(1) 英語の native speaker，または，同等の英語運用能力を有する者。
(2) 英語教育，または，それに関連する分野の博士号の学位(Ph.D.)を有すること。または，それと
同等の教育研究業績を有すること。
(3) 学内の業務を遂行するのに十分な日本語能力を有すること。
(4) 大学で英語の授業を担当した経験があること。
(5) 英語教育に関する統計分析ができることが望ましい。
(6) 管理運営の業務経験があることが望ましい。

(1) 履歴・業績書
本学が指定する書式を利用すること。指定書式は，本学英語教育センターホームページ
(http://web.eec.ehime-u.ac.jp/english/index.html) からダウンロードできます。
(2) 主要業績 3 点の抜き刷り，または写し（各 5 部ずつ）
。それぞれにつき，簡単な概要を日本語，
または，英語で付けること。
(3) 推薦状 2 通（連絡先を明記したもの）
(4) 学位及び資格証明書の写し
(5) 教育に対する抱負，及び，すでに実践している授業の工夫をまとめたもの（500 語－800 語の英
文）
，または，ティーチングポートフォリオ（あるいは，アカデミックポートフォリオ）があれ
ば，より望ましい。

二次選考：面接（模擬授業を含む）

Job Announcement for an English Language Teacher in the English Education Center,
Institute for Education and Student Support, Ehime University.

Treatment
(1) Term of employment: Tenured (no fixed term).
(2) Salary: The annual salary system based on Ehime University regulations.
4.
Main responsibilities
(1) The planning, developing and management of the English language curriculum for
undergraduate students mainly in the General Education program.
(2) Teaching English classes for undergraduate students mainly in the General Education
program.
(3) Management of assistant professors belonging to the English Education Center
(4) Contributing to English education programs at Ehime University.
(5) Other duties related to the improvement of English education that Ehime University
promotes.
5.
Qualifications
Numbers 1-4 are required, while 5 and 6 are strongly preferred.
(1) A native speaker of English or a person with native-like proficiency.
(2) A person with a Ph. D in English education, or equivalent academic research achievements.
(3) Sufficient Japanese language ability to be able to carry out duties.
(4) Experience in teaching English at the university level.
(5) An ability to carry out statistical analysis related to English education.
(6) To have experience in the position of management and administration in the field of English
education.

(1) Resume/C.V.: The required format can be downloaded from the English Education
Center website: http://web.eec.ehime-u.ac.jp/english/index.html
(2) Offprints or copies of three main publications with five copies of each. Include an English or
Japanese abstract for each.
(3) Two letters of reference with the contact details for each person clearly noted in each letter.
(4) A copy of your graduate degrees and other relevant credentials.
(5) Your aspirations for English education in Japan and an outline of the classes that you
currently teach (500-800 words). Or, preferably, please submit an official Teaching Portfolio
or an Academic Portfolio.

Selection
1st stage: Document review
2nd stage: Interview, including a demonstration lesson
*Successful candidates for an interview will be notified after the document screening has been
completed. All travel expenses to and from Ehime University will be borne by the candidates.
9.
