INFORMATION LETTER: WJAA BASEBALL TOURNAMENT IN NAGOYA
Dear Sabers high school baseball parents and players:
The Sabers high school baseball team will play in a WJAA tournament at Nagoya International School
(NIS), Friday and Saturday, 15–16 May 2015. The students will travel to Nagoya by shinkansen Friday
morning and return to Osaka Saturday evening. The team will spend Friday night on rented futons at
NIS. Coaches Sagara and Algie will accompany the student-athletes.

ITINERARY
 08:10 AM, Friday, 15 May: meet at Shin-Osaka Station, central shinkansen entrance
 08:30 AM: depart on Nozomi 114; arrive Nagoya station at 9:21; arrive Kozoji station at 10:00
 10:30 AM: arrive NIS (via JR Kozoji station, taxi), begin tournament play – first game 11:30 AM
 Friday evening: overnight on rented futons
 19:11 PM, Saturday, 16 May: depart on Hikari 481 from Nagoya Station (18:29 from Kozoji St.)
 20:03 PM: arrive Shin-Osaka Station; student-athletes dismissed to return home on their own
MEDICAL INSURANCE
All student-athletes should have medical insurance. SOIS students should always carry a copy of their
Japanese national health insurance card, if they have one.
PAYMENT
PAY ONLY AFTER BEING SELECTED TO THE TEAM.
The amounts below are close approximations. Each student must make a cash payment of ¥10,000 to
the business office before the trip. If costs are lower than anticipated, students will be refunded.
 Shinkansen round-trip ticket: ¥10,000
 Futon rental: ¥1500 (pay directly to coach before trip or on train)
OTHER COSTS
 Transportation to/from Shin-Osaka Station
 Taxi from Kozoji station to NIS and return (shared; about ¥1000 roundtrip)
 Meals and drinks for two days

りお知らせ致します。

 医療保険
国民健康保険に加入している SOIS 生徒は、常にコピーを持参して下さい。
遠征チームのメンバーに選出されてからお支払い下さい。
 旅費
旅費の見積もりは下記の通りです。出発までに 10,000 円を現金でお支払い頂き、領収書をお受け
取り下さい。実費が見積額を下回った場合、旅行終了後に差額をお返し致します。

新幹線往復切符：10,000 円

レンタル布団：1500 円遠征旅行前か電車の中で直接コーチにお渡し下さい。
 上記旅費以外に各自で用意するその他の費用
新大阪駅からの自宅までの往復電車賃、2 日間の飲食費、タクシーこぞじ駅から NIS まで
