Klimalog –
Research and dialogue for a climate-smart and
just transformation
An ambitious international climate agenda and its effective
implementation are essential for global sustainable development.
With its Klimalog project, the German Development Institute
/ Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) promotes
awareness for links between climate and development policy
furthering a goal-oriented dialogue between actors in politics,
academia, civil society and the private sector. It focuses on key
issues of UN climate negotiations and their implications for cooperation with developing countries and emerging economies.
DIE‘s research project investigates regulatory measures to decouple the global economy from fossil energy (decarbonisation)
and to adapt to the impacts of climate change (resilience).
