Forschung im Center for Quantitative Economics (CQE)
Die Forschungsschwerpunkte der CQE-Mitglieder umfassen die Gebiete „Internationale Wirtschaftsbeziehungen“, „Monetäre Ökonomik“, „Quantitative Wirtschaftsgeschichte“, „Theorie und Empirie internationaler Finanzmärkte“ sowie die Entwicklung
finanzmarktökonometrischer Methoden. Die Forschung im CQE besitzt eine international orientierte Ausrichtung mit dem Ziel der Publikation in hochrangigen wissenschaftlichen Fachzeitschriften.
Der Publikationserfolg der CQE-Mitglieder manifestiert sich in weit mehr als 50 Veröffentlichungen in hochrangigen VWL-Journalen. Darunter befinden sich u.a. das Journal of Econometrics, die European Economic Review, die Review of Economics and
Statistics, die International Economic Review, das Journal of Banking and Finance,
das Journal of International Money and Finance, die Open Economies Review sowie
das Journal of Empirical Finance.
Das CQE besitzt eine eigene Diskussionspapier-Reihe, die CQE-Working-Papers.
Die CQE-Lehrstühle organisieren regelmäßig das Ökonomische Forschungsseminar
sowie, in Kooperation mit internationalen Partnern, themenbezogene Workshops, in
denen ausgewählte internationale Wissenschaftler ihre aktuellen Forschungsergebnisse präsentieren und diskutieren.

Research at the Center for Quantitative Economics (CQE)
The research foci of the members of CQE include the areas of international economics, monetary economics, quantitative aspects of economic history, the theory and
empirics of international financial markets, and the development of econometric methods for financial markets. The research of the CQE is internationally oriented, and
members strive for publication in highly ranked scientific journals.
The success of the center manifests itself in publications in highly reputable journals
such as the Journal of Econometrics, European Economic Review, Review of Economics and Statistics, International Economic Review, Journal of Banking and
Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, Open Economies Review, and
Journal of Empirical Finance.
The CQE provides an appropriate Working-Paper-Series, the CQE-Working-Papers.
The CQE regularly organizes the Economic Research Seminar and, in collaboration
with its international partners, relevant economic workshops. Both the Economic Research Seminar and the workshops provide presentation and discussion fora for selected international scientists and the results of their latest research.
