Tradition und Qualität
im Jahre 1840 durch Ignaz Mayer, wurden mehr als 1.500 Schiffsneubauten,
tausende von Schiffsreparaturen und -umbauten durchgeführt. Der Bau von
Spezialschiffen war und ist unsere Stärke. Neben Fähren, Tankern, Booten und
Pontons entstehen bei uns auf der Werft modernste Fahrgastschiffe und Einsatzboote. Damit alles reibungslos funktioniert, sind Teamarbeit, Zuverlässigkeit
und Selbständigkeit gefragt. Unsere Mitarbeiter bürgen für die Qualität.
We would like to look back on our history. In 1840 our company was founded and
since then more than 1,500 new ships were built, thousands of ships repaired and
ship conversions were made. The construction of specialized vessels was and is
our strength. Besides ferries, tankers, boats and pontoons, we also build modern
river cruise ships. To ensure that everything runs smoothly, our employees represent quality, teamwork, reliability and self-reliant.

supply. Our modern slip-way with a length of 270 m is able to lift all ships sailing on
the river up to 3000 tons of displacement. Two vessels with a length of 133 m can
be putted out simultaneously.

Standort. Der Firmenschwerpunkt liegt im allgemeinen Maschinen- und Anlagenbau in der Lohnfertigung. Unsere Stärken sind die Montage von Spezialmaschinen
sowie die mechanische Bearbeitung (Fräs- und Bohrwerke) von einzelnen großen
Werkstücken mit hoher Genauigkeit und die Fertigung einzelner Teilkomponenten

ÖSWAG engineering, emerged from the shipyard, since in 1992, is an independent
company and an affiliate of ÖSWAG shipyard Linz at the same location. The company focuses on contract manufacture of general mechanical engineering. Our
strengths lie in the assembly of special machines as well as mechanical machining
(milling and boring machines) of large work pieces with high accuracy and the production of individual sub-components for a variety of customers in of this sector.
More than 200 employees provide a friction-free processing of orders.
