EPS played Westbourne Park going down by 1 wicket. We smashed many fours and our bowling was great. Noah W and
Umair did a excellent job wicket keeping. Unfortunately The opposition scored well from overthrows and over bowls.
Thanks to Warren Warde and Alex Reardon for coaching us in preparation for the Lightening Carnival on Friday. .

Year 6/7 – Our last game for the year, and for a lot of our players for their Primary School life, was a great game. We
played well as a team and had a great win. Thanks Rebecca for your coaching and parents who also came to support us.

EPS Mini Volleyball Program
Well done on another great term of mini-volleyball at EPS. We have seen all of you improve throughout
the year and are proud of each of you.
All teams will play in the finals round of the competition on the 12th of December at Westbourne Park with
one of our senior teams expected to be in the grand final. A special thank you to all the parents for your
support of the program.
If your child is in years 3 - 6 this year and would like to join our program next year, please email me

Volleyball is almost over :( - Term 4
Just a quick update, please read carefully:
There are no games this Friday 5th of December due to the Westbourne Park Concert
Finals are on the last day of school - being the 12th of December - game times will be confirmed asap. I
assume they will be between 4 - 5pm.
This weeks training for the 6/7 teams will be shortened and will finish at 4pm due to the End of Year Concert at
School. This was decided by the players.
With graduation for year 7's on the 10th, we will offer a training session for the 6/7's on Tuesday 9/12/14 till
430
Thank you for your support this year. It has been nice to see the program grow and the development of your
child in volleyball.
We will miss the year 7's moving on. All the best for high school.

On Friday, December 5th there will be a Christian Options Program Christmas presentation titled ‘O Come Let
us A –door Him’ to years R-2 and 4-7, a letter was sent home providing more detail.
This fun and informative play is designed to help students of a primary age to understand the Christmas story through
different characters such as the Innkeeper’s family and the three wise men, with drama DVD and music. The Christmas
production is conducted by a team of trained volunteers of local churches, and has been well received by students in
previous years.

At last night’s School Council meeting the Materials & Services charge of $340-00 for 2015 were endorsed
School Council have also approved to Poll the Materials & Services amount of $340-00. This form will be

We still have over three thousand items outstanding from the Resource Centre. If you have had a notice for an overdue
book or an invoice for payment, please act on it as soon as possible.
Where will Reading take you this Summer? Entry forms are available for our competition in the Resource Centre, with
a $15 Scholastic book voucher as the prize. We haven't had any correct entries yet, so we have extended the closing
date to the end of February. We would also love to have some art works next year...illustrate your favourite destination or
setting from a story you have read, to go on display in the Resource Centre next year.
