DM-21 Mercury Intrusion Display
Description
Johnson Controls, Inc. now offers Mercury Security Corporation’s
high-quality access control hardware products, which can be
integrated with the Johnson Controls® P2000 Security Management
System (SMS), providing added flexibility to help you meet the needs
of your site’s security requirements, using products from a well-known
and time-tested security manufacturer.
The DM-21 Mercury intrusion display provides an interactive link to the
P2000 Security Management System, enabling system operators to
perform various intrusion-related tasks. The DM-21 displays text as
sent by the controller, providing alarm status feedback or other
freeform messaging or instructions that the system generates.
In a P2000 intrusion application, the DM-21 intrusion display allows
operators to arm and disarm areas of the facility, and bypass zones,
directly from the device. The P2000 software enables administrators
to define and manage logical intrusion components (areas and zones).
The DM-21 combines a 32-character LCD display and a multi-position
keypad. Even in challenging settings, the backlit LCD yields clear
information displays. The keypad features standard numerics and four
function keys to select display options. The unit connects to the
system via a 2-wire RS-485 link or a TTL connection.
