The recording dictates which signal is sent to each speaker, where the Absolute Phase® crossovers route
sound to a particular driver. This ensures that each driver will produce only at frequencies for which it was
designed as well as keeping the drivers electrically and acoustically in phase with one another.
Developed in-house by Phase Technology® engineers, PC speakers incorporate patented flat-piston woofers
that utilize a tri-laminate of Kevlar, RPF ™, and glass fiber (patent #4566178). These components match the
speed and accuracy of our patented soft dome tweeters. Solid piston drivers generate a widely dispersed
sound from a rigid cone moving as one piece, thus inhibiting the “break-up modes” that deteriorate clarity
and smoothness. This provides more accurate and natural sound.
The SST28 speaker stand is designed to hold the PC0.5, PC1.5, PC3.5, and PC33.5 speakers. The stand
absorbs vibrations, while keeping wires hidden from sight.
