Our department, along with Indiana’s department of Ob/Gyn lead the reproductive health component of the collaboration. AMPATH has a tripartite mission of clinical care, education and research. Areas of focus within the reproductive health component of the collaboration include reduction of maternal morbidity and mortality and prevention and treatment of gynecologic malignancies. We work together closely and are each other’s counterparts in terms of trainee supervision. Drs.
