The Event
Entering our ninth year, Taste for a Cure for CF is set for another exciting evening once again at the Executive
Court Banquet Facility in Manchester, NH! Our event has grown over the last eight years to include over 500
guests raising a total of over $900,000 to help find a cure. This year is sure to add to that success. The main focus of
this event is for those who support our mission to come together for a fantastic evening of sampling foods from
some of the area’s best restaurants and bakeries, while bidding on dozens of unique silent auction items and
listening to live music.

About Cystic Fibrosis
Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease that affects the digestive and respiratory system. Currently there is no cure.
Reasons to Support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

The Foundation is adding tomorrows every day. In 1955, children born with CF often died before
reaching elementary school. Today, people with CF are living into their 30s, 40s and beyond.

The Foundation continues to fuel dramatic improvements in research and care. Because of the
Foundation, people with CF are living longer and healthier lives. The outlook for people with CF
continues to improve, year after year.

The Foundation is efficient. The Foundation is an accredited charity of the Better Business Bureau’s
Wise Giving Alliance, meeting all of its Standards for Charitable Accountability. We take great pride in

Important note on attendance for people with CF and their families:
The health and well-being of people with cystic fibrosis is our top priority. Medical evidence shows that certain bacteria can be passed between
individuals who have CF and can lead to worse symptoms and speed decline in lung function. To limit the serious risk of cross-infection between people with CF, only one person with CF may be invited to
attend any indoor CF Foundation-sponsored event.
Please note: People with CF and their families should be aware that individuals with CF might choose to attend Foundation events or meetings without notifying event organizers. We strongly discourage this;
however, we cannot guarantee that only one person with CF will be present at any indoor
Foundation event. For more information, please call us at 800-757-0203.
