Sub: Conduct of W est Zone Inter University Kabaddi (M en) Tournament- 2014-15.
Dear Sir /Madam,
We extend hearty w elcome to all the participating Universities in the West Zone
Inter University Kabaddi (Men) T ournament-2014-15 to be held from 19th to 22 nd
January- 2015. We are sending herewith the detailed information w ith the copy of
fixtures, which may please be brought to the notice of the Managers accompanying the
team.
1. Date of Commencement of Tournament: The West Zone Inter University
Kabaddi (Men) T ournament 2014-15 w ill commence on 19th January 2015 at
Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. The Opening ceremony will
be on 19.01.2015 at 8.00 am. How ever, the Cl osing ceremony will be on 22nd
January, 2015 at 3.00 pm.
2. Venue of Tournament: The T ournament will be organized at Sant Gadge Baba
Amravati University Sports Compl ex, Tapow an Road, Amravati. Your team will
have to get down at Badnera Railw ay Station, which is 10 Km aw ay from Amravati.
Badnera Railw ay Station is situated on Mumbai-How rah T rack. No conveyance or
transport facility from Badnera/Amravati Railw ay station will be provided to the
participating University teams. City Buses & Auto rickshaw s are available to reach
to the venue of the tournaments. If you are detrain at Badnera, you may catch
connected shuttle train/city bus for Amravati.
3. The T ournament will be conducted as per the latest rules of AMATEUR KABADDI
FEDERATION OF INDIA as adopted by AIU.

The participating players of every team must be below 80 Kg. weight categories as
per the rules of AMATEUR KABADDI FEDERATION OF INDIA.
5. The w eigh in of every participant of non seeded teams w ill be conducted on
18th January at 6.30 p.m. How ever, the w eigh in of seeded teams w ill be
conducted on 20th January, 2015 at 6.30 p.m.
6. Accommodation: The unfurnished accommodation to the participating
Universities shall be made available before 24 hours of the T ournament. Teams
are requested to vacate the rooms allotted to them within 24 hours after their last
match.
7. The players will be provided a simple carpet or darries at the accommodation.

8. T eams are requested to bring the own locks for the safety of their belongings.
Organizing University/Institution will not bear any responsibility of any theft.
9. The weather at Amravati in the month of January is very pleasant.
members may bring adequate w oollen clothing.

10. T eams are requested to communicate its date and time of arrival so that the
organizer will make an appropriate arrangement.
11. First aid and immediate medical assistance will be provided at the Ground. In
case of major injuries, etc. medical assistance will be provided at Civil Hospital,
Amravati. The cost of medicines etc. shall have to be borne by the concerned
teams.
12. Four copies of the eligibility proforma of the players duly typed and signed by the
competent authority of the participating universities, player’s identity cards and a
copy of the subscription receipt obtained from AIU, New Delhi should be handed
over to the organizing secretary at the time of registration.
IMPORTANT: The participating universities shoul d submit to the organizing
secretary the attested photocopies of 10+2/Dipl oma/Graduation l evel
statement of marks dul y attested by the competent authority of their
respective university,
13. Officiating Charges Rs. 700/- per match will be collected from each participating
University before the commencement of their match. The Organizing Secretary
will give receipt to that effect.
14. The organizing secretary reserves the right to change the time, venue and date of
the matches. The decision of the organizing committee shall be final pertaining to
the matters related to the T ournament.
15. M anager’s meeting will be conducted on 18th January, 2015 at 5.00 P.M. at
Audio Visual Theatre of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati
