and encouraging environment and students will leave with a buzz of enjoyment!
FRESH: Our choreography is always FRESH as all teachers at JB DANCE are on top of the latest styles of
dance. We also have a FRESH approach on teaching as every child learns differently.
FRIENDLY: We see you as family! Our teachers at JB DANCE always take the time to get to know each and
every student building a good rapport with them and their families.
At JB DANCE we are dedicated to creating quality dancers and catering for students of all ages and abilities.
We are also committed to providing excellent quality tuition at a very reasonable $5.50 per class.
At JB DANCE we encourage a stress and pressure-free learning environment where students are able to

JB Dance Classes
Jelly Beans Classes
We offer Jelly Beans classes for children from the age of 18 months until they attend Primary School. We
have Jazz and Ballet classes available for them and all of our classes are co-ed. No technique classes are
available for our Jelly Beans.
* For a child to partake in a 5 years plus class they must be attending Primary School.
Technique Classes
To be able to take a Jazz class, you will be required to take our Jazz Technique Class. This class is designed
to go hand in hand with Jazz and is beneficial for your child. We have placed Jazz Technique first so the
students can start with a warm up and stretch. In Jazz Technique students learn and practice their kicks,
turns, leaps and splits and this helps them when performing their Jazz routine. Jazz Technique will be
compulsory if your child is in our Jazz classes. This will cost $11 per week for the two classes.
Concert Classes
Our Concert Classes include Jazz, Hip-Hop and Contemporary. In these classes, students are taught a
choreographed dance routine over two terms to perform in our Mid Year (commencing 2016) and End of
Year concerts.
Show Team – ( Coming in term 3 ) All Students will be welcome to join the JB DANCE Show Team. Being a
part of the Show Team shows that you want to take your dancing to the next level. Our performances will
mostly be on weekends at various venues and events around the Tweed.

their costume/s and you can then go directly to our website and purchase from there.

Class Code of Conduct
At JB DANCE we treat you as family, not as a number, and we love building relationships with our students
and parents! However, we have put a few rules in place in order for your child to get the most out of the JB
DANCE experience
● At JB DANCE, we strive to help your child become the best dancer he or she can be – after years
of training open classes, we have found that a child learns best in a quiet and a distraction-free
environment.
● If students arrive before their class has started, they must be quiet and respectful.
● If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s fees, newsletters, events or anything
else, please contact Deb on 0478 695 498 or via email at [email protected] As we run our
classes back to back, we prefer it if you could avoid talking to the teachers directly before or after their
class, as this can cut into class times.
JB Dance Uniforms & Shoes
Uniforms are compulsory and are to be worn to every class. Uniforms are worn for the Mid Year concert
(commencing 2016). Please see our website for the uniform requirements of each class. Uniforms are
available for purchase via our website www.jbdance.com.au.
Concerts
At JB DANCE we believe that all students should have the opportunity to perform and present what they
have been learning in class. All concerts are compulsory.
