Gerritts Middle School (JRG) and six Woodland Intermediate School students have been selected for the 2015 Wisconsin Choral Directors (WCDA) All-State Choirs. The J.R. Gerritts Middle Schools students selected for the All-State Middle Level choir are: Paul Been, Isabelle Schaut, Allyssa Van Cuyk and Deven Vera. Woodland students Isabelle Fisher, Allen Leitner, Nakita Livermore, Colette Roug-Ferguson, Sydney Wright and Ben Xiong will sing with the All-State Children’s Choir. “I am very excited for our students,” said Sara Holub, choir director at JRG. “This is a real chance for them to push themselves to excel at a higher level, and then bring that experience back to share with the rest of our JRG Choirs.” The All-State Choirs will perform Saturday, January 10, 2015, at the Lawrence University Memorial Chapel in Appleton as part of the 2015 WCDA annual JRG students selected for Wisconsin Middle Level AllState Choir, pictured left to right, are: Isabelle Schaut, Allyssa Van Cuyk, Deven Vera and Paul Been. convention.
