Dear Parent,
DAV Public School Ballabhgarh looks upon to set a new paradigm by developing skills in the learners that facilitate
high degree of responsiveness, adaptability and openness in them and produce competent,tech-savvy and ready to
work individuals by raising their capabilities so that they manifest victorious performances each and every day.
The school has always encouraged and facilitated its students to present their talent and prove their skills. Mentioned
below are the latest achievements of our students who have registered their names on the wall of fame.
Glorious Achievements : Monika a student of Class XII qualified for the award of Scholarship valued at Rs. 80,000 per year for five years
for Higher Education under Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) by virtue of
performance within top 1% of the Senior School Certificate Examination 2014 (Class XII) conducted by the
Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi held during the academic session ending March / April 2014.
She received a congratulations certificate from Smriti Zubin Irani, HRD Minister.
Pooja of Class XII bagged the 2nd position in Shotput in DAV National Sports conducted at DAV International
School, Amritsar.
Our team of Basket Ball Girls, Meghna, Sakshi, Swati, Neha, Prachi of Class XII & Isha, Karishma, Bhawna and
Divya of Class VIII bagged the third position in DAV National Sports held at DAV International School,
Amritsar.
Khushboo Rani of Class XI secured the 307th rank at the International Level and 7th rank at the State Level in
Haryana Zone in the finals of 13th SOF – National Cyber Olympiad competition held in February 2014. She was
awarded a certificate in recognition of her Performance Excellence in this competition.
Little artists Bhumi and Kirti of class V were given the Encouragement prize by the Ministry of Power, Govt. of
India for their participation in the painting competition held at Panchkula.
Hethartho of Class IX bagged the 1st position and Deeksha of Class XII got the 3rd position in open solo
singing competition organized by Nupurnad Sangeet Sansthan – KHOJ at MCF Auditorium Faridabad.
In the Mahatma Anand Swami Inter School Competition held at Suraj Bhan DAV Public School, Vasant
Vihar, Delhi, our students made a mark in many competitions. Riya Chauhan (XI) and Sarvesh (XI)
bagged the 1st prize in Geometrical Rangoli Competition. Pallavi and Raseeta of Class XII won the
2nd prize in Flower Arrangement (group) Competition. Tushar Aggarwal of Class V won the 3rd position
in Manas Vaachan Competition. Harshita, Sheetal, Ekta, Anushka of Class X, Dharni (XII), Komal,
Paridhi, and Shivani of Class XI secured the 2nd position in Group Song Competition. Chanchal and
Tripti of Class IX bagged the 1st position in Srijan(clay modeling) competition. Puneet Mangla and
Debjeet of Class X secured the 3rd prize in HTML. Our group of girls , Himanshi, Shubhangi, Jaya,
Sonali of Class XI, Anjali, Charu, Vanshika, and Deepshikha of Class X bagged the 3rd prize in
choreography.
We hosted an Inter School Competition, ‘Fantastic Fantasy World’ on 26th November 2014. The main objective
of the competition was to set up a platform for highly creative, imaginative and innovative minds to visualize the
future world with a unique view point. The fantastic perspective of the ‘Fantasy World’ presented by the
participating teams of reputed schools of Faridabad and Ballabhgarh made the event highly admirable and
electrifying.
Please note the following:
The school has arranged extra classes from 19th Jan’15 onwards for students of classes III to X who could not
perform fairly well in SA-1 or unit tests and need a little more time and attention to improve their performance in
the forth coming exams. Schedule for these classes will be circulated later on.

The school shall remain closed for winter vacation as per given schedule :
Classes Pre Nursery to II
: 29th Dec’14 to 14th Jan’15
Classes III to XII
: 31st Dec’14 to 14th Jan’15

School will reopen on 15 Jan’15 at its usual timings.
Please note that the fee will be charged for 3 months in Jan 2015 (i.e Jan, Feb & Mar). You are requested to
deposit the dues by 20th Jan’15. In case of withdrawl, application must be submitted before 15th Mar’15
otherwise one month fee will be charged in April 2015.
Registration is open for all classes. Admission forms are available at School Reception from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm
on all working days. Kindly note that the seats are limited and the admission will be given on Merit Basis.
The school has introduced Interactive Boards in all classes to facilitate our young learners with the advanced
teaching learning technology tools. In order to meet financial requirements essential to keep pace with the global
system of education there may be a moderate hike in the fees in the next year. Hope you will cooperate with us.
Kindly visit the school website davblb.ac.in to download the assignments given by all subject teachers to be
accomplished during winter vacations. Please encourage your ward to attempt them well in time.
The school is celebrating its Annual Day Prize Distribution Function on Tuesday, 30th December 2014.
Sh Mool Chand Sharma, MLA Ballabhgarh Constituency has very kindly consented to be a Chief Guest and honor
the meritorious students. Sh Ravinder Kumar, Secretary DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi will
preside over the function. Dr Priyanka Soni, Sub Divisional Magistrate Ballabhgarh will be the Guest of Honour.
You all are cordially invited to attend the function at 3.30 p.m Your presence will be highly motivated.
Always encourage your child to participate, regardless of winning or losing.
This spirit will take him ahead in life.
