Baltinglass
That the following Section shall replace the current Section 31 of the Third
Schedule (50km/h) of the 2000 Speed Limit Bye Laws.
31.
The following roads in Baltinglass
a) The Blessington Road (N81) from its junction with the Kiltegan Road (R747)
to a point 597 metres north of its junction with the Kiltegan Road (R747).
b) The Sruhaun Road (L3290) from its junction with the Kiltegan Road (R747) to
a point 450 metres south of its junction with the Blessington Road (N81).
c) The Kiltegan Road (R747) from its junction with the Blessington Road (N81)
to a point 117 metres east of its junction with the Rathvilly Road (L7276).
d) The Lathaleere Industrial Estate Road (L77490) from its west junction with
the Kiltegan Road (R747) to a point 36 metres north west of its east junction
with the Kiltegan Road (R747).
e) The Rathvilly Road (L7276) from its junction with the Kiltegan Road (R747) to
a point 527 metres south east of its junction with the Kiltegan Road (R747).
f)
The Tullow Road (N81) from its junction with the Kiltegan Road (R747) to a
point 243 metres south of its junction with the Kiltegan Road (R747).
g) The Bawnoge Upper Road (L7398) from its junction with the Ballintore Road
(R747) to a point 24 metres north of its junction with the Carlow Road
(L3279).
h) The Rathmoon Road (L3280) from its junction with the Ballitore Road (R747)
to a point 173 metres west of its junction with the Ballitore Road (R747).
i)
The Ballitore Road (R747) from its junction with the Blessington/Tullow Road
(N81) to a point 152 metres north west of its junction with the Rathmoon
Road (L3280).

j)
The L8780 for its entire length.
k) All other public roads that are not already defined in the speed limit bye-laws
and are within the area defined as follows:
i)
commencing from a point on the Blessington Road (N81) 597 metres
north of its junction with the Kiltegan Road (R747).
ii)
to a point on the Sruhaun Road (L3290) 450 metres south of its
junction with the Blessington Road (N81).
iii)
to a point on the Lathaleere Industrial Estate Road (L77490) point 36
metres north west of its east junction with the Kiltegan Road (R747).
iv)
to a point on the Kiltegan Road (R747) 117 metres east of its junction
with the Rathvilly Road (L7276).
v)
to a point on the Rathvilly Road (L7276) 527 metres south east of its
junction with the Kiltegan Road (R747).
vi)
to a point on the Tullow Road (N81) 234 metres south of its junction
with the Kiltegan Road (R747).
vii)
to a point on the Bawnoge Upper Road (L7398) 24 metres north of its
junction with the Carlow Road (L3279).
viii)
to a point on the Rathmoon Road (L3280) 173 metres west of its
junction with the Ballitore Road (R747).
ix)
to a point on the Ballitore Road (R747) 152 metres north west of its
junction with the Rathmoon Road (L3280).
x)
and from the last mentioned point return to the commencement point
on the Blessington Road (N81).

That the following Section shall replace the current Section 11 of the Fourth
Schedule (60km/h) of the 2000 Speed Limit Bye Laws.

The following roads in Baltinglass
a) The Blessington Road (N81) from a point 597 metres north of its junction with
the Kiltegan Road (R747) to a point 847 metres north of its junction with the
Kiltegan Road (R747).
b) The Kiltegan Road (R747) from a point 118 metres east of its junction with
the Rathvilly Road (L7276) to a point 24 metres south east of its junction with
Green Lane ( L7268).
c) The Lathaleere Industrial Estate Road (L77490) from its east junction with the
Kiltegan Road (R747) to a point 36 metres north west of its east junction with
the Kiltegan Road (R747).
d) The Tullow Road (N81) from a point 243 metres south of its junction with the
Kiltegan Road (R747) to a point 1213 metres south of its junction with the
Kiltegan Road (R747).
e) The Carlow Road (L3279) from its junction with the Tullow Road (N81) to a
point 548 metres south west of its junction with the Tullow Road (N81).
f)
The Bawnoge Road (L7398) from its junction with the Carlow Road (L3279)
to a point 24 metres north of its junction with the Carlow Road (L3279).
g) Green Lane (L7268) for its entire length from its junction with the Kiltegan
Road (R747) to its junction with Rathvilly Road (L7276)
h) The Rathvilly Road from a point 527 metres south east of its junction with the
Kiltegan Road (R747) to a point 16 metres south east of its junction with
Green Lane (L7268).

That the following Section shall be inserted into the Fifth Schedule (80km/h) of the
2000 Speed Limit Bye Laws.

a) The Blessington Road (N81) from a point 847 metres north of its junction with
the Kiltegan Road (R747) to a point 1433 metres north of its junction with the
Kiltegan Road (R747).
