Sure Start Children’s Centres Rochdale offer access to a range of
support and services for families with children aged under 5 to give
children the best start in life and help them to reach their potential.

Family Journey Sessions - January
15th Bonding with Baby: A session for expectant mums to come
together to plan for their new baby.
22nd Weaning and Sleep: This session will focus on weaning and
guidelines.
29th Family Food: This session will focus on weaning and guidelines.
Parents will make a dish. Share and taste sessions.

Safeguarding Children
The team across Howard St cluster area are committed to working in partnership
with parents. We involve parents/carers to the highest degree, wherever possible,
whilst maintaining the focus on the best interest of the child. All children Centre’s
follow Rochdale Borough Safeguarding Children's Board procedures whenever a
concern exists about harm or potential harm to a child. The policies and procedures that we follow are available for you to read in the Early Years room and in the
main office.

Please note in order to keep the children safe during term time, the car park will be shut
from 8.15am - 8.45am and from 2.45pm - 3.15pm.
Vehicles will be unable to get in or out of the car park during this time.

management, need some support with behaviour management and or feel
that you and your family could do with some extra support with your child’s
development such as speech and language? Then a CAF could be for you.
The CAF is a family friendly referral form bringing services together to look
at what each service can provide to get the best outcomes for you and your
