As many of you have heard, Hawker Park Primary School lost the funding from the Federal Government to maintain my position at the school. I was devastated but have been so blessed by the support and love this amazing school community has shown me. Fortunately with the support of Dr Roberts, the P&C and the School Board I was then able to stay one day a week. On Tuesday this week I found out that YouthCare has, with the help of the local churches, been able to find funding for me to stay the two days a week. CHAPLAIN’S O R N E R Words cannot express how grateful I am for all your love and support over this last week and I promise you all that I will work tirelessly to support, encourage and empower your children in my role as the Hawker Park Primary School Chaplain. On that note, I would like to wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a Happy New Year and I look forward to seeing you all next year. School Banking To all our super savers, students, staff and families at Hawker Park Primary School, we wish you a very merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year. Our end of year Christmas and Graduation Concert displayed the multiple talents in our school and celebrated the achievements of many of our very ‘amazing’ students. Each child is special, has the ability to shine in different ways and has the confidence to succeed in whatever they choose. We congratulate all award winners as well as acknowledge the efforts of the entire student population. Each class presented a beautiful Christmas carol and didn’t they sing like angels? We are very proud of them. Thank you parents, for all your support and patience throughout the year. We look forward to another year full of fun, laughter and learning.
