Sunday School Today at FPC - First Presbyterian Church

“Go 2 Blocks” is a two-fold challenge. First, as an act of hospitality, we ask
those who are able to park 2 blocks away from the church, making space in our
lot for visitors and those who are not able to walk that distance. Second, we ask
you to consider engaging in two blocks of time on a Sunday morning - worship,
and one other. If you’re looking for a second block, we encourage you to check
out one of our Adult Sunday School classes listed below. Note that children are
offered two totally different experiences at 9:30 and 11:00, so they can go two
blocks as well!

The Lord will give you a sign.
The Lord’s Prayer (“Debts” version)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be
done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our
debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from
evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

O Come, All Ye Faithful Prayer of Confession O God of compassion, have mercy upon us. You send forth
your Spirit, yet we ignore your counsel. Christ dwells among us, yet we fail to obey him.
We sing of peace on earth, yet hostility continues. Angels herald good tidings, yet we
commit evil deeds. Forgive our deliberate and indirect misuse of your graciousness,
and make us worthy to receive Christ in our lives.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Maker of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ,
His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell;
the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the
right hand of God the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick
and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church, the communion
of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.
Amen.
This month we celebrate Elizabeth, Eunice, Yvonne, Anastasia, and Boniface! Please
pray for these beautiful children and all the children at Joy Village. www.treeoflives.org
